FanTeam Sign-Up Offer: Bet £20 and get £10 in Free Bets
FanTeam have been around since 2014 and are registered in Malta under the company name Scout Limited; they operate under the UK Gambling Commission License. They offer betting on Fantasy Sports leagues and fixed odds sports betting.
FanTeam Sign Up Offer Explained
As is the case with any betting site worth its salt, there’s a FanTeam sign up offer available to claim at this exciting site that combines two of the biggest current crazes among sports fans: sports betting at a Sportsbook and playing Fantasy sports for real money against other people.
The FanTeam welcome offer allows you to get the best of both worlds thanks to 10£ in free bets to use in the Sportsbook and another 10£ to use on Fantasy tournaments on any sport you want; all you need to do is place a 10£ qualifying bet in order to get them.
FanTeam Welcome Offer Terms & Conditions
Free bets and other promos all come with terms and conditions that determine how the offer works and what you need to be aware of when it comes to claiming the offer. Here are the key Ts and Cs for this one:
- The offer must be claimed within 30 days of opening your account.
- The free bets are valid for 30 days after you claim them.
- You will only receive your Sportsbook free bets and an additional 8£ in Fantasy tickets after using your initial 2£ free Fantasy ticket.
- Your 10£ free bet must be placed at odds of 2.0 or greater on any sport you like.
- To use your free bets, you need to select ‘Use Free Bet’ in the bet slip.
- Bet credits can’t be withdrawn and if they win, only the profits will be returned to you, not the credits/stakes themselves.
How to Claim the FanTeam Sign-Up Offer
And here’s what you need to do in order to claim the FanTeam new customer offer.
- Click on the big yellow Register button on the homepage. There’s no need to enter a FanTeam promo code.
- Fill in all the necessary details such as your name, address, e-mail, username, password and mobile number.
- Make a deposit of at least 10£.
- Use the complimentary 2£ Fantasy ticket awarded to you on any tournament you like.

- A 5£ Sportsbook credit to be used as a single bet and 1x 2£ Fantasy ticket will be credited to you at this point.
- Come back to the site four days later to receive: 3x2£ Fantasy tickets + 1x5£ Sportsbook multi-bet credit. The multi-bet must be made up of between 2-10 different events.
- Make sure you use all the free bets within 30 days of receiving them.
Do you Require a Promo Code to Claim your FanTeam Sign-Up Offer?
No, you don’t require a FanTeam bonus code to claim this offer.
FanTeam Existing Customer Promotions and Regular Offers
Sadly, there are no more promos such as FanTeam free bets to look forward to beyond the initial single and combi FanTeam free bet.
Both established and new betting sites almost always have Odds Boosts, buy-one-get-one-free bets, reload bonuses and other offers to keep punters engaged and motivated. Then again, one shouldn’t judge a betting site purely on promos and there are other positives to look forward to here.

FanTeam Key Sportsbook Features: What Makes Signing Up Worthwhile?
There are lots of betting sites out there so if you’re going to open an account at one, there have to be good reasons for it, and here they are:
Bet on Fantasy Sports
We’re mostly focused on the Sportsbook side of things but it’s impossible to ignore the fact that if you like betting against Fantasy managers on the likes of football, American Football, motor racing and basketball, this is the place to do it. There are over 600 different tournaments to take part in at any given time, with varying entry fees, rules, formats and prize money, so something for everyone.
Place sports bets based on Fantasy Sports data
You can also bet on whether a particular player will get over or under a certain number of (Fantasy) points, or who will get more points in a match-up between two players; players get awarded points for goals, assists, clean sheets and so on just like in a regular Fantasy game. At the moment betting on player points is only available for the top two or three European football leagues.
All the major football leagues covered
There’s an excellent offering when it comes to the football leagues you can bet on. The biggest and most obvious ones are there- the likes of Premier League, Serie A, La Liga and Ligue 1- but also the far less obvious ones, such as Scandinavian leagues, South American ones and Cup competitions. Let’s see if they add women’s and youth football in the near future, too.
Taking Responsible Gambling seriously
Whether it’s sports betting or Fantasy betting, any betting can become an addiction or have harmful effects on a customer’s life. So, it’s important that the betting site has good content around what responsible gambling is, recognising a gambling problem, explaining how to use Responsible Gambling tools and which organisations you can contact if you feel you need help. All areas that FanTeam cover extremely well.
Good on-site content
There’s some helpful content explaining how Fantasy Sports work in terms of scoring. For example, that in football a defender gets six points for scoring a goal, while a goalkeeper gets five for defending a penalty. Any specific rules relating to particular tournaments, including prize pools, are also well covered while the Live Results section allows you to keep up to date on the players’ performances in real-time.
What Sports are Available at FanTeam?
For the record, we’re talking about sports to bet on here the same way as you would in a regular Sportsbook, not Fantasy sports. Customers may be somewhat surprised to find out there are only three on offer, but they cover them extremely well. They are:
- Football
- American Football.
- Baseball.
Banking With FanTeam
There are plenty of payment options available here. This is a PayPal betting site which is good news because we’re big fans of it and consider it to be one of the best e-wallets out there, while those who like Paysafecard betting sites will be glad to find they can use it here, too. Both are known for their ease of use, security features and speed when it comes to processing transactions.
FanTeam Deposit Methods
What we’re less than impressed about are the fees in place here when using the aforementioned Paysafecard for deposits as it’s going to cost you 10% of the value of your deposit in transaction fees. It’s hard to understand why it’s such a high amount and why it applies specifically to Paysafecard as there aren’t fees for any other depositing methods. Most betting sites don’t charge any fees at all so it’s a cost likely to annoy some customers.
Deposit Method | Fee | Processing Time | Limits |
---|---|---|---|
VISA | None | Instant | 10£/4000£ (per month) |
Mastercard | None | Instant | 10£/4000£ (per month) |
PayPal | None | Instant | 10£/4000£ (per month) |
Neteller | None | Instant | 10£/4000£ (per month) |
Skrill | None | Instant | 10£/4000£ (per month) |
Paysafe | 10% of the value of your deposit | Instant | 10£/4000£ (per month) |
Trustly | None | Instant | 10£/4000£ (per month) |
Payz | None | Instant | 10£/4000£ (per month) |
FanTeam Withdrawal Methods
If the Paysafecard deposit fees are likely to irk some customers, then the same can be said for fees charged when withdrawing your money. You’re looking at an absolute minimum of 5£ and in some cases as much as 20£ per transaction. Again, it’s hard to justify these fees because they should be part of a betting site’s operating costs rather than it being the responsibility of the customer to shoulder them.
Despite already having several e-wallets available, the addition of Apple Pay would be a positive move as it’s becoming increasingly popular.
Though most customers are highly unlikely to be withdrawing more than 50,000 £ at a time, it’s worth pointing out that there are some limits on withdrawals, which for the European Economic Area (doesn’t include UK) is 50,000£ a day and 200,000 £ a week. For the rest of the world (including UK), the withdrawal limit is capped at 30,000 £ a day and 100,000 £ a week.
Withdrawal Method | Fee | Processing Time | Limits |
---|---|---|---|
VISA | 5£ | Up to 48 hours | 20£/Unlimited |

Neteller | 4.95% (Minimum 5£/Max 20£) | Up to 48 hours | 20£/Unlimited |
Skrill | 4.95% (Minimum 5£/Max 20£) | Up to 48 hours | 20£/Unlimited |
Paysafe | 10% of the value of your withdrawal | Up to 48 hours | 20£/Unlimited |

Bank Transfer | 5£ | Up to 48 hours | 20£/Unlimited |
Does FanTeam Have a Mobile App?
FanTeam has one of the better betting apps around, available for both Apple and Android devices with solid functionality that allows you to do everything you’d do on the website; in some cases, it’s even better via the app. Security measures in place include using a PIN code and fingerprint recognition.
Is FanTeam a Trustworthy and Safe Brand?
For the most part, yes. It’s licensed via the UK Gambling Commission, has been around for a while, boasts tens of thousands of customers and generally has a good reputation for treating customers fairly. Charging transaction fees is a red flag of sorts but that doesn’t mean the site is any less safe as a result of that.

They’re pretty quick in replying by email (less than an hour) and social media (5 minutes) while Live Chat is instant. We found their CS team to be friendly, polite and helpful via all methods, while their Support section on the site (FAQs) allows you to solve plenty of queries that way.

Our Experience Using FanTeam
FanTeam is one of the leading Fantasy Sports betting websites in the world, offering a superb range of short-term and season-long leagues across several different sports with varying entry fees, prize money and formats. I entered a couple of weekly ones myself and though I didn’t win(!), it was all pretty straightforward to do, and I enjoyed the experience.
The ability to place wagers on the Fantasy points of named players will also appeal to many.
A good welcome offer, a high level of Customer Service and an ample supply of betting markets and leagues, especially for football, are other positives.
But if that’s the Fantasy side of things getting a big tick, the Sportsbook side of things is a bit more problematic in that they only offer three sports to bet on, meaning that fans of the likes of horse racing, cricket or tennis will need to go elsewhere to bet on those.
You could also argue that it’s something of a no-frills Sportsbook with no Bet Builders, Live Streaming or Cash Out, and no offers beyond the welcome one. But if all those things can be excused as this being a streamlined Sportsbook, the fees on both deposits (Paysafecard) and withdrawals (all methods) are less excusable. If most of the other betting sites can go without charging such fees, it’s hard to see why they insist on it.
Either way, the conclusion here is that this is a site primarily focused on Fantasy Sports betting with the ‘light’ Sportsbook there to support this, rather than the other way around. So, it’s perfect for hardcore Fantasy Sports players who enjoy the odd sports bet here and there, while the serious sports bettor may have to go elsewhere for the full experience.
