Another area where there’s some room for improvement. At the moment you can only get in touch with NRG via e-mail or social media channels. Live Chat and phone, normally staples in terms of Customer Service, are not available. That said, they do advertise their CS hours via e-mail as being 24/7.

Our Experience Using NRG

Sports betting punters come in all shapes and sizes with very different requirements and expectations. If you’re after an all-singing-all-dancing modern-day Sportsbook that does the lot, including a load of special features, this probably won’t be the one for you.

That said, it does do all the basics right and if it’s a more streamlined Sportsbook you’re after, where you mostly want to concentrate on placing good-value bets without all the extras, you’ll be able to do so here.

I found that all the main sports I wanted to bet on were available, that all the main markets I normally play were on offer, including a good Bet Builder product for football, and thought the average odds were pretty fair. As it happens, a couple of bets I was going to place anyway were subject to Price Boosts so that was quite literally, a bonus.

Even before placing a bet with my own money, I claimed the welcome offer with minimum of fuss, so that was a good start. A quick check of their Responsible Gambling section showed it’s something they take seriously and provide the necessary tools to help you keep your gambling under control.

That said, there’s work to be done. They should think about increasing the number of payment options, providing ongoing promos beyond just Price Boosts, adding Live Chat and phone to the methods by which you can reach Customer Service, and possibly developing their own mobile app, though this is less of a priority. It’s a good start for a betting site that is less than a year old, but they can certainly improve.
