What Betting Markets are Available at BetWright?

We’ve already discussed the impressive range of betting markets for football and horse racing but that’s just the tip of the iceberg in terms of what you can find here. Here are some of the more popular ones.

Each-Way Betting

When you bet each-way, half of your stake is on the selection to win, the other half on it ‘to place’. A good example of each-way betting is  in golf tournaments, but it’s also a popular market to play for the likes of horse racing and outright markets in darts or football.

First Goalscorer/To Score Anytime/To Sore 2 or more/To score a hat-trick

These are all football markets that revolve around a particular player scoring one, two or three goals in the same match at ever-increasing odds, depending on how many goals you’ll think they’ll score. You can also back a player to score the first goal of the game, generally available at high odds.

Correct Score

Used in the likes of football, snooker or darts, here you’re betting on what the actual score will be, not just who will win. So if it was a best-of-seven frames in a snooker match, you could bet on 4-0 or 4-2 to player A, for example.

Outright Betting

If you'd rather play the long game rather than just bet on individual matches, you can bet on outright markets, where you’re wagering on who will win a particular tournament such as the Premier League, Wimbledon or the Superbowl.

Bet Builders

Currently available only for football here at BetWright bookmaker, Bet Builders allow you to combine selections from the same match into one bet, working the same way as an acca in that you need all of them to win.

Banking With BetWright

This is one of the areas where there’s maybe still a bit of work to be done. At the moment the only payment options available are Mastercard, Visa, Maestro and bank transfers which is a bit limited and means that fans of the likes of PayPal and Paysafecard will be disappointed they can’t use that one, or any other e-wallet.

Then again, just about everyone has at least one debit card so all customers here should have at least one option that suits them.

The first clue that this is a trustworthy brand is that it holds the UK Gambling Commission license, which is the one we here at Betting Odds respect the most.

It’s the hardest to obtain and to keep so if a Sportsbook has it, you can be assured they do everything as they should, including: having measures in place to protect your data and money, checks to make sure there’s no money-laundering or other fraudulent activities going on across the site and that they have funds put to one side to ensure they can always pay out on bets, especially very big wins.

This is another area where they may have to up their game a bit. They don’t currently have a phone live available where you can contact their agents and outside office hours they don’t promise to have a human dealing with queries over Live Chat but rather, an automated response service.

Still, the agents we did speak to during office hours on Live Chat were efficient and helpful in dealing with my questions about making a deposit, the betting rules of a cricket market and why my withdrawal request was taking a while to be processed.

Our Experience Using BetWright

First things first, let’s remember that this is a Sportsbook with just over 12 months of experience under its belt. When you consider that some betting sites like William Hill, Ladbrokes and Unibet have been around online for over 20 years, and you can see that they really are newcomers to the industry. 

There’s plenty to like. Football and horse racing fans will be impressed by the number and variety of markets, with fans of the latter also being able to look forward to streaming races at no cost. Their Bet Builder and Cash Out products are both strong and all in all, both the site and betting app are easy to use and everything is logically organised so you’ll find everything you need in double-quick time.

Some areas they can improve on are: making more payment options available, introducing a phone service to reach Customer Support and maybe adding some new sports to bet on.

So a solid start for such a young betting company with just some improvements needed to take it to the next level.
