St Mirren are managed by Stephen Robinson who replaced Jim Goodwin in February 2022.
The Saints have not seen a huge amount of silverware in their history, with their last major trophy coming in 1987 when they won the Scottish Cup at Hampden Park. Lennon would dearly love to end that drought but the main priority at the moment is staying in the SPL.
St Mirren gained promotion back into the Scottish Premier League in 2006 and have, for the large part, been embroiled in a relegation dog fight ever since, mostly managing to hold onto their SPL status with either a 10th or 11th place finish. They once again started the 2011/12 season as one of the favourites for relegation but ended up finishing in a respectable 8th place, followed by 11th in 2012/12.
Numerous draws but few defeats has seen St. Mirren enjoy a strong run of results. Defeats against Celtic, Dundee are the only black marks on a run that has seen them amass wins against Kilmarnock, Ross County, Aberdeen, Dundee United while sharing the spoils versus Motherwell, Rangers, Hibernian, Celtic
