Jim Bentley is the former manager of AFC Fylde and Morecambe who took charge of Rochdale on 29th August 2022 on a two-year contract..
Bentley was originally appointed player-manager of Morecambe back in 2011 following an illustrious career, which saw him win over 300 appearances for the club, but quickly went on to establish himself as a prominent figure in the Shrimps dugout.
Bentley has been given time by the club to develop as a young manager and both himself and the hierarchy will now be looking towards a possible a play-off challenge, although staying in the Football League is the number one priority.
