Gary Caldwell is the former manager of Partick Thistle, a post he held between October 2018 and September 2019.
Caldwell made his bow into the managerial arena with Wigan in April 2015 following the departure of Malky Mackay.
Caldwell, a club legend having made over 100 appearances as a player, led the Latics back up to the Championship at the first time of asking. However, after a poor start to the 2015/16 season he was sent packing.
Caldwell only drew the curtains on his playing career in February of that year (2015), joining Wigan's coaching academy, before landing his first managerial role with the club shortly after.
Caldwell was unable to keep the Latics in the Championship, with the 2012/13 FA Cup winners suffering a second relegation in three seasons, however he then orchestrated an instant return to the second-tier.
