Derek Adams
Derek Adams is a Scottish football manager who is in his third spell in charge of Morecambe.
Adams ventured into the managerial arena back in 2007 with Scottish outfit Ross County, with whom he has since enjoyed returned to; firstly winning the Second Division title; then he took them to the top-flight for the first time in the club's history.
This fantastic achievement won Adams numerous plaudits and saw him deservedly be crowned the PFA Scotland Manager of the Year. Adams also steered the Dingwalls club to the Scottish Cup final and two Scottish Challenge Cup finals.
In between his spells at Ross County Adams was Colin Calderwood's assistant at SPL side Hibernian, while in 2015 he decided to venture south of the border to take charge of Plymouth, after taking an invaluable year's sabbatical during which he broadened his knowledge of the beautiful game.
He then led Plymouth into League One and did the same with Morecambe. He left for Bradford in the summer of 2021 but returned to The Shrimps during the 2021/22 season, before leaving for Ross County in 2023, only to return to Morecambe once against in 2024.
