Andrew Whing currently serves as the head coach of Barrow, after he switched from Solihull Moors in January 2025.
Whing is a former right back, starting his career with Coventry City in 2003, where he scored the final goal at their former ground Highfield Road. He ended his playing career in 2015 with Oxford United.
His managerial career began in 2020 with Banbury United, where he stayed until he resigned in May 2023. In June 2023 appointed head coach of National League club Solihull Moors, with whom he led to the 2024 National League play-off final, as well as the FA Trophy Final.
