Wrexham League Two Odds: Red Dragons 7/2 to win back-to-back titles

After securing promotion back to The Football League in April, Wrexham have been given odds of just 7/2 with several bookmakers to repeat their success and claim the League Two title in 2023/2024.
It’s been a remarkable campaign for the Red Dragons who have amassed 110 points this season setting a new National League record. And despite being pushed all the way by Notts County, Phil Parkinson’s side will be promoted as Champions.
The club has attracted attention from across the globe thanks to their Hollywood owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney with their successful ‘Welcome to Wrexham series’ which aired on Disney.
It has been 15 years since Wrexham last played in the Football League and with their owners having their sights on further success, the sky's the limit for the club which was founded in 1864.
Betting sites Betfair and bet365 are both offering odds of 7/2 that Wrexham will be crowned the League Two Champions. Those odds imply a 22% chance that Wrexham will win back-to-back titles and with potential high-profile signings this summer such as Hal Robson-Kanu, it would be no surprise to see players dropping down the football pyramid to play for the club.
It may be a little ambitious but Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney have also made a public attempt to try and lure Gareth Bale to The Racecourse Ground. McElhenney took to twitter saying:
“ Hey @GarethBale11 let’s play golf, where I totally won’t spend four hours trying to convince you to un-retire for one last magical season…”.
It is sure to be a busy summer in the transfer window for Wrexham, with bookmaker bet365 already making them a short price in several League Two outright markets for the 2023/2024 season.
In terms of gaining promotion, Wrexham are chalked up at 5/6, while a top-three finish is currently available at just 11/8. A top-seven finish can be backed at 2/5, while for those who fancy an immediate return to non-league football, 50/1 is on offer to be relegated.
For those who really do believe in magic, Betfair and Paddy Power have gone one step further and have priced up a certain Lionel Messi to make the switch to Wrexham this summer at 250/1.
