Wolves vs Newcastle Predictions
Wolves vs Newcastle
Wolves head into the game searching for their first win of the Premier League season. They suffered a 2-0 defeat against Arsenal in their opening game, followed by a heavy 6-2 loss at home to Chelsea, then a 1-1 draw at Nottingham Forest.
Their poor form stretches well back into last season. Since March, a 2-1 home win over Luton remains their only league victory in 13 matches, during which they've lost nine times, while they've lost five of their last six home games.
The recent Wolves vs Newcastle record is also far from flattering for Wolves, who have failed to get the better of the Toon in five meetings with only one win from the last 11 encounters.
Newcastle, despite playing over an hour with 10 men, dug deep to beat Southampton 1-0 on the opening weekend. They then secured a point on the south coast at Bournemouth, before disposing of Tottenham 2-1 in their last outing.
Eddie Howe's side head to the Midlands as the 21/20 favourites with BetMGM, Wolves are priced at 5/2 to claim their first league win of the season, while a draw can be backed at 13/5.
The first component of the 7/1 Bet Builder with BetMGM requires both teams to score.
Newcastle have scored and conceded in seven of their last eight games and their last four on the road - with three of those four games containing 5+ goals.
Goals have also been a key component of Wolves games with a whopping 15 in their last three home fixtures alone, all of which have been green ticked in the BTTS market.
Next up I'm backing Joelinton to amass over 2.5 foul in the game. Joelinton and fouls go hand in hand like Erling Haaland and goals. The Newcastle midfielder has accrued 10 fouls already this season, including four against Southampton and five last time out against Spurs. He has two bookings on the board too.

The third and final ingredient to our betting pot is for Alexander Isak to either score or assist which brings our Bet Builder up to 7/1 with BetMGM.
Isak has two goal involvements in three Premier League games this season. He assisted Joelinton in the 1-0 win over Southampton then opened his account last time out against Spurs when he netted the winner 13 minutes from time. This was the confidence booster he needed as he's since added three goals on international duty for Sweden.
The striker, who finished third in the Golden Boot standings last term with 21 goals, now has 14 goals in his last 18 games for club and country and will be licking his lips at the prospect of facing a Wolves defence that has failed to keep a clean sheet in 15 top-flight games dating back to February against Sheffield United, while they've conceded nine goals in their last two home games.
