Wolves v Brentford Prediction: Back Traore to cause the Bees trouble

Wolves finally get some points on the board and deservedly so. However, they are currently on a three game winless run at home, a defeat here would be the first time they’ve lost four on the spin here since 2016.

The Bees suffered their first defeat of the campaign in dramatic fashion with Brighton scoring in the last kick of the game.

This game is a contrast in styles and will be a real tactical battle between the managers and two sides!

Traore is averaging three shots per game this season having had 6/4/2/0 with 10 of those coming in the two previous home games. Wolves opponents are averaging 10.5 goal kicks per game this season and Brentford are conceding over 7.5 on avg per game.

Given the reasons above it makes sense for this bet to also be added in a larger number. Wolves opponents are receiving the most cards per game this season (three per game). A Wolves opponent has had a second half card in all four games. Brentford have also picked up cards in the second half in three out of their four games in the top flight.

This is too big for me at 9/1. Considering it won in Wolves most recent game and fell just a shot on target short in Brentford’s game v Brighton. Wolves have showed great attacking intent under Bruno Lage and Brentford are built on a solid defence. The only concern for me on this bet is, “can Wolves win the game?” so for 9/1 this is BIG!
