West Ham vs Dinamo Zagreb Odds: Three tips from the Wizard for this Europa League contest

West Ham host Dinamo Zagreb in this Europa League group stage clash at the London Stadium at 8pm, broadcast live on BT Sport. The Hammers are guaranteed qualification and top spot regardless of the result in this final game but they will be looking to continue the winning momentum after a fantastic comeback win against European Champions Chelsea in the Premier League. They are unbeaten in the group stages so far with four wins and a draw including a 2-0 away win at Dinamo Zagreb.
The away side come into this in awful form winning just 1 out of their last 6 games in all competitions. They currently sit 2nd in the table with seven points and another point in this game will be enough to ensure qualification, due to their superior head to head record over 3rd placed Genk. Rotation will be expected here from the hosts but they will still be able to field a strong enough side for this level.
This is a tough game to call considering the motivation levels of both teams but one would have to give the edge to the Hammers due to their impeccable record so far in this tournament. An intriguing clash awaits us and as usual, I have my 3 best betting angles included in the preview below.
West Ham vs Dinamo Zagreb Tips
Team News:
Kurt Zouma, Angelo Ogbonna and Ben Johnson are out for West Ham while Aaron Creswell is doubtful.
No suspensions/injuries for the visitors as they travel with a fully fit squad.
West Ham possible starting lineup:
Areola; Ashby, Dawson, Baptiste, Masuaku; Noble, Kral; Vlasic, Lanzini, Perkins; Yarmolenko
Dinamo Zagreb possible starting lineup:
Livakovic; Moharrami, Sutalo, Theophile-Catherine, Stefulj; Ademi, Misic; Menalo, Ivanusec, Orisic; Petkovic
West Ham have received four yellow cards so far in five games, whilst Dinamo have received six bookings. The hosts have nothing to play for while Dinamo Zagreb have qualification on the line. Expect them to be aggressive and halt counter attacks. If they’re holding on to a result late on in the game, there could be some time wasting as well which could lead to bookings. I don’t expect too many cards in this game overall but I am confident on the visitors picking up more yellow cards than West Ham. Take Dinamo -0.5 asian handicap cards @ 20/21 with a 1pt stake as our main bet for this game.
Manuel Lanzini has scored two goals in his last three games for West Ham including goals against top sides Manchester City and Chelsea. He has been a regular for West Ham in this competition and could start here again. 4/1 on him to score anytime looks huge and we will take it with a small 0.5pt stake as our 2nd bet for the game.
Josip Misic is averaging the most fouls for Dinamo Zagreb in the Europa League. He has been booked twice in five games already and could very well be booked again here. Mislav Orsic has two assists in five games so far in the Europa League with both assists coming in the last two games. Dinamo will go for a much needed positive result here and an Orsic assist could be on the cards. Combining both these picks gives us a huge longshot @ 22/1 and I am happy to take that with a very small 0.25pt stake. You can place the bet directly using the link above.
Best of luck if you follow these selections. Please always gamble responsibly
