USA vs Bolivia Prediction and Betting Tips: Back Antonee Robinson to find the net
2024 Copa America hosts USA open up their latest campaign with an appealing looking fixture against underdogs Bolivia at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on Sunday.
The game kicks off at 11pm (UK time) and most football fans will be expecting the home side to make the perfect start to the competition, even despite struggling to maintain their form so far this year.

After winning the CONCACAF Nations League for a third consecutive time thanks to a 2-0 victory over rivals Mexico in late March, everything was looking rosy for the USMNT.
That competition victory had done a lot to quell fears of a stall in progression for Berhalter’s side after they suffered defeats to Trinidad & Tobago and Slovenia just prior to that, but a calamitous 5-1 loss to Colombia in early June threatened to undo that hard work.
Berhalter came under increasing pressure to leave his role following that performance, but his side responded by claiming a 1-1 draw against Brazil less than two weeks ago, which sends them into this tournament with renewed hope.
They enter as the fifth favourites overall according to the bookmakers and, with a squad full of talent, including the likes of Christian Pulisic, Weston McKennie and Gio Reyna to name a few, they should prove too strong for Bolivia in this opening outing.
The 1963 champions have lost 10 of their 12 internationals over the course of the last year and arrive in the US as the lowest-ranked side in this year’s tournament.
To make matters worse, all-time top scorer Marcelo Moreno retired at the end of 2023 and, without him, Bolivia are extremely unlikely to progress from Group C.
USA vs Bolivia Predictions
Although they’ve not enjoyed the best preparation for this summer’s Copa America, USA still possess more than enough quality to put Bolivia to the sword in their opening group stage fixture.
In attack, expect Christian Pulisic to deliver after he put together a solid season for AC Milan in Serie A, scoring 12 goals and assisting nine more across 36 appearances.
He’s likely to be joined in the attacking line by Timothy Weah and Ricardo Pepi here after the trio started against Brazil, while the midfield of Weston McKennie, Gio Reyna and Yunus Musah pack a punch.
Each of the USA’s last 11 victories have also seen the net more than twice, so a repeat of that here in Texas could be deemed likely.
As the USMNT are such heavy favourites to win this opening Group C battle, it’s difficult to find much value on the goalscoring front, so instead of opting for an attacker, we think that picking Antonee Robinson to score anytime offers a nice alternative.
The 26-year-old enjoyed his best season so far on the club front, featuring 37 times in the Premier League for Fulham and, although he didn’t score, his performances have reportedly attracted the interest of Liverpool and others to his availability in this transfer window. For his national side he’s scored twice across his last six matches from left-back.
