Turkey v Wales Tips: Moore to pose a huge aerial threat

Wales v Turkey is the first must win match of Euro 2021, if either side do win then they would very likely make the knockout stages and the loser would have to win their final tougher match to have any chance of progressing.
Turkey underwhelmed in their opening fixture and I expect to see a much better showing here, they have a very strong core of their team and they will almost certainly opt for a more attacking approach this time. Wales moved the ball well against Switzerland but struggled to create any real openings, their biggest threat was crosses in to Kieffer Moore and I expect them to take the same strategy here.
Target men have always performed well at international level; the 3 current top scorers in the Euros are all 6ft 2+ target man strikers - Peter Crouch has one of the best goals per minute ratios of any striker in England’s history and the likes of Jan Koller, Alexander Mitrovic, Miroslav Klose and Nikola Zigic etc have had astonishing success at international level despite not hitting the same heights at elite club level.
With less time to work with players it makes sense why international defences are more often susceptible to concede from set pieces and crosses into the box, so with all that in mind I’m happy backing Moore for 1+ and 2+ headed shots on target at 15/8 and 12/1 respectively.
The Cardiff man has had more headed shots in his career than he’s had with either of his feet, both bets landed in their last match and I’m sure Robert page will be thinking if it ain’t broke don’t fix it here.
