Turkey v Italy Tips: Back the Italians to get Euros off to winning start

It's been a long time coming but the Euros are finally upon us with the first game of the tournament taking place in Rome on Friday night as Italy take on Turkey in Group A.
The betting favours the Italians who as short as 1/2 to win the match, rated a 66% chance of getting off to a winning start by the bookmakers. Roberto Mancini's side are also favourites to top Group A which also contains Wales and Switzerland.
We've enlisted resident football tipster @TwoPoundPunt for his best three Turkey v Italy tips with his reasoning below.
Turkey v Italy Tips
A firm favourite throughout the league season with another 20+ season under his belt. I do think Italy have a great chance to go deep in this tournament and Immobile will be key to any progress.
A huge average with over three shots per game for club and country he will surely get the nod ahead of Belotti.
Turkey will pose the biggest threat to Italy in the group, in fact both sides are real dark horses. Mancini's Italy have not lost in their last 27 games and should look to make a winning start here.
Turkey's top playmaker is coming here after productive season for AC Milan. He racked up eight goals and 13 assists and will be involved in all set pieces.
Turkey play an attacking style of football creating plenty of chances and should be confident of holding their own. He averages over two shots per game for the national side and at evens for one on target I am in.
A few selections here that didn't make the cut for a single so will combine them into a same game multi.
Yilmaz was pivotal in helping Lille to win Ligue 1 and in the twilight of his career he shows no signs of slowing down. At 35 this could well be his last tournament and with confidence sky high there is no doubt he will give everything to help Turkey try and progress.
Demiral is near top of the table when looking at team tackles, fouls, and blocks. Not afraid to put his body on the line he could well have a busy night ahead with Immobile, Berardi and Insigne potent attacking threats.
It is also for this reason I think Italy come away with the win in this opening tournament fixture.
