Thursday Accumulator Tips
Ajax to win, Rangers to win, West Ham to win, Leverkusen to win
Ajax To Win
Now it seems crazy to be backing Ajax to win at the moment given their current situation, but they look like they might be back on track with two consecutive wins, and convincing wins at that.
Their last two games have been a 2-0 win against Volendam and a 4-1 win against Heerenveen both of these being at home, which is exactly where they’ll be playing Brighton. Given that this is being played at the Johan Cruyff Arena, I think they’re a solid bet at 16/5.
Brighton are actually struggling a little at the moment with only one win in their last eight games and 0 wins in their last five away days. Form is arguably on the side of Ajax at the moment and with them having a home advantage, 16/5 seems like a really solid price.
Rangers To Win
Rangers are up next and they host Sparta Prague. We’re backing the Scottish side to come away with a win here at even money. They’re currently on a streak of six games without a loss and when it comes at home, they’ve won five of their last six.
These two played out a 0-0 draw recently and with Rangers being at the Ibrox, they should definitely have everything on their side to get a win here. If Sparta couldn’t manage to score at their home ground, it’s a big ask for them to get anything at the Ibrox.
West Ham To Win
West Ham have had a series of shaky results recently but they've had plenty of success at the London Stadium recently, this could be a great time to back them to win. I think West Ham have much more quality in their team with the likes of Bowen and Kudus leading the line.
Olympiacos are a solid team but it’s hard to take much from their results with their league being nowhere near as competitive as the Premier League. West Ham have proved to be solid in Europe in the last two seasons and with heaps of experience now on their side, they have all the tools to come away with a win.
Leverkusen To Win
And finally, we’re backing Leverkusen to beat Qarabag. Leverkusen are a short price to win here but it seems like a great addition to bump up the price of our accumulator.
Leverkusen are having a stunning season so far and lead the Bundesliga table by two points with Bayern Munich slowly closing in on them. Leverkusen are yet to lose a game this season which is a staggering statistic on its own but when you look at their form and see 10 wins on the bounce and 14 wins in their last 15 games, you have to worry for Qarabag here.
I don’t think this selection needs any more justification, Leverkusen are one of the most in-form teams in Europe right now and this should be an easy game for them.
