Study: The cost per save for keepers in the Premier League this season

Keepers are the heart of most teams these days, we’ve got your classic shot stoppers with the likes of David de Gea and then you've got keepers who are essentially an extra defender like Ederson for Manchester City. But at the end of the day, they’re being paid to stop the ball from going in the net.
We at BettingOdds.com have conducted a study into which players are costing their club the most money per save out of all keepers in the Premier League that have made at least two appearances in the league so far.
We’d like to give an honourable mention to Kepa who is currently costing his team £1.2m per save this season as he has fallen out of favour at Chelsea but as we’re focusing on players that have played two or more games, the player that tops the list is Arsenal’s Bernd Leno. The German is costing Arsenal £177,778 per save in the league so far this season after he has fallen out of favour to Aaron Ramsdale. On the other hand the most cost efficient goalkeeper looks to be Watford’s Daniel Bachmann who is only costing £1937 per save!
