England face Spain tonight at 6pm in a winner-takes-all Group C Nations League clash, live on ITV.

Spain Women vs England Women Tips

England have to beat Spain to progress to the Nations League Finals, while La Roja know a draw would be enough to see them through. 

The Lionesses are likely to have to chase the game at the RCDE Stadium at some point and this fixture looks likely to be a high-scoring contest. 

Spain have scored 16 goals in their last three Nations League matches, their last three fixtures having finished 5-1, 7-1 and 4-2 and Montse Tome’s women have hit a total of 51 shots on target in their five matches in this competition. 

Clearly, La Roja take a step up in class against England, but the Lionesses' attack has been roaring too. 

Sarina Wiegman’s women hammered Portugal 6-0 on Friday and there have been a total of 16 goals in England's last three games. 

The Lionesses will have to do without former first-choice keeper Mary Earps and rock-solid centre-back Millie Bright, but that won’t hinder the attack of Wiegman’s side. 

This is a clash between the two best teams in Europe and it’s clearly a top-level contest, but that may not stop the flow of goals and backing over 2.5 looks a good bet on Tuesday evening.

Taking a big-priced punt on the correct score market could also pay dividends. A 3-1 Spain victory can be backed at 16/1 and that and that makes plenty of appeal. 

England were 1-0 winners against La Roja at Wembley in February, but it’s likely to be a different story at the RCDE Stadium.

Tome’s team have developed into the best team in Europe and Spain have hammered any opposition put in front of them since that London loss.
