Chris Wilder's Blades are rooted to the foot of the table with only three wins picked up from 28 matches, although they signed off before the international break with a respectable 2-2 draw away to Bournemouth.
But Blades fans may reflect on that game as two points dropped rather one gained given they had led 2-0 until the 74th minute at the Vitality Stadium.
Fulham also enjoyed a confidence-boosting result last time out, winning their last game before the hiatus 3-0 against top-four chasers Tottenham.
That was the second successive 3-0 win the Cottagers had posted on home turf, having beaten Brighton by that scoreline at the start of March.
But their away form has not been as convincing and they will hope this weekend they can pick up only their third road league win of the campaign.
Sheffield United vs Fulham Team News
Anis Ben Slimane is a doubt after not being called up to the Tunisia squad during the international break and he could join Chris Basham, John Egan, Max Lowe, Rhys Norrington-Davies, Rhian Brewster and Daniel Jebbison on the sidelines.
For the Cottagers Rodrigo Muniz was taken off with a hamstring issue against Tottenham before the international hiatus but is expected to start this match.
Possible Starting Line-Ups
- Sheffield United (3-5-2): Grbic; Baldock, Robinson, Trusty; Bogle, Souza, Hamer, Arblaster, Osborn; Brereton Diaz, McBurnie.
- Fulham (4-2-3-1): Leno; Castagne, Adarabioyo, Bassey, Robinson; Palhinha, Lukic; Iwobi, Pereira, Willian; Muniz.
Sheffield United vs Fulham Tips
Fulham's away record in this term's Premier League makes for grim reading.
Only two of their 11 league triumphs have come on their travels and their performances away from home have ultimately cost them contention for the European places this campaign.
But the good news for Marco Silva's men is that their next road trip is against the worst team in the division and they are fancied to win against United.
The Blades may have drawn with Bournemouth last time out, but they fluffed a two-goal lead and they have lost their last four home games 5-2, 5-0, 5-0 and 6-0.
The international break did not come at a brilliant time for Fulham, but they should nonetheless draw confidence from that win over Spurs and they can pick up a win to nil at 21/10 with Midnite.
Given their away form, punters should not expect a barnstorming performance like those from recent visitors to Bramall Lane, but Fulham can dig deep and claim the spoils.
Sheffield United have leaked plenty of goals at home in recent weeks, but should keep things tighter when they welcome Fulham to Bramall Lane.
The visitors can win this game but it could be a narrow win, with under 2.5 goals an appealing selection at 23/20.
That is because the Blades offer very little going forwards and Fulham are unlikely to wreak havoc.
The Blades have drawn blanks in three of their last four matches in the top-flight and they have scored only 24 times in their 28 Premier League assignments this season.
