Bet Builder Tips: 28/1 double for Saturday's Premier League fixtures

It’s Gameweek 9 in the Premier League and after a fantastic week of European Football domestic action returns with six games taking place on Saturday. Once again, @AnthonyEadson is on hand with his best Bet Builder Tips for the action, with his two selections both coming in the Everton v Watford game which starts at 3pm. At the time of writing the best price on the double is 28/1 and is available with bet365.
Everton fans must be relatively pleased with the start they have made under Rafa Benitez with 14 points after eight games. The Toffees sit eight in the table and welcome Watford to Goodison on Saturday and new boss Claudio Ranieri will be hoping for much better after his side were spanked 5-0 at home to Liverpool in his first game in charge of the hornets.
Bet Builder Tips
- Emmanuel Dennis to be carded @ 7/2
- Lucas Digne to be carded @ 11/2
- Bet Builder Double @ 28/1 bet365
Emmanuel Dennis to be carded @ 7/2
I think this will be another tough game for Watford and the first part of my Bet Builder double comes in the form of Emmanuel Dennis to be carded. The Nigerian has started all eight league games so far this term in attack and has two goals to his name so far. However, it’s his rate of fouls that catches the eye with the 23-year-old currently having the highest fouls per game ratio of any Watford player and the fifth highest in the entire division.
Over the course of his eight matches Dennis has committed 21 fouls (2.6 per game) and this has resulted in him also being shown a yellow card on four occasions. No player in the league has more cautions to their name than Dennis this season and I fancy him to pick up another on Saturday. It’s also worth noting here that only three teams in the Premier League have picked up more yellows than Watford this campaign and for those backing this selection with bet365 you will find the player name under ‘Emmanuel Bonaventure’.
Lucas Digne to be carded @ 11/2
Readers of my ramblings here on BettingOdds.com will know that I’ve put up a few different left-backs to be carded this season who have been the direct opponent of Watford’s Ismaila Sarr and I’m doing so once again this week in the form of Lucas Digne. Since the start of the season, the Frenchman has been shown two yellow cards in eight games and I’m fancying him to pick up his third up against the pace and trickery of Sarr.
Besides being the most fouled player per game in the Championship last season, the Senegal international has started life back in the Premier League in fantastic fashion, scoring four goals in his first eight appearances. More importantly, four left backs or left-wing-backs have been booked up against Sarr this campaign, including Solly March, Marcal, Matt Ritchie and Brandon Williams.
With this in mind 11/2 looks a reasonable price for him to find his way into Graham Scott’s notebook. The official held the second highest red cards per game ratio last season giving out 0.31 per game on average I’ll be hoping he’s in the mood for dishing some out on Saturday to help land this 28/1 Bet Builder double.
As always, please remember to gamble responsibly and best of luck to anyone following the picks this weekend.
