Premier League Sack Race Odds: Erik ten Hag new favourite following Steve Cooper's exit
Steve Cooper became the second managerial casualty of the 2023/24 Premier League season on Tuesday after Nottingham Forest opted to send him packing, with former Wolves and Spurs boss Nuno Espírito Santo in talks to replace him.

Premier League Sack Race Odds
Erik ten Hag has been hovering towards the top of the market for some time with the under-fire Man Utd boss now installed as the 3/1 favourite to be the third manager to leave following Cooper's exit.
Man Utd have won only one of their last six matches in all competitions and have failed to even score in their last three, which includes a 3-0 defeat at home to Bournemouth.
His side did manage to record a point at Anfield in their last outing in a game in which they had 38% possession and one shot on target.
Next up is a tricky trip to West Ham on the 23rd followed by in-form Aston Villa at Old Trafford on Boxing Day.
Roy Hodgson is next in the running at 5/1.
Crystal Palace have claimed just one win - against Burnley - in their last 10 matches and none in their last six games, while they've not won at home since the start of September.
However, The Eagles did manage to claim a prized point away to defending champions Man City in a game in which they clawed their way back from two goals down to rescue a last-gasp draw.
They will now bid to return to winning ways at home to Brighton, although the pressure will be straight back on Hodgson should his side slide to their fifth defeat in seven matches.
Vincent Kompany's future was in the spotlight ahead of Burnley's recent "six-pointer" against Sheffield United. The Clarets were rock-bottom of the table, had lost seven straight games in all competitions, and had lost all seven league home games since returning to the top-flight.
Kompany's troops responded in style with a 5-0 rout of the Blades, which proved to be the final game in charge for Paul Heckingbottom.
Kompany's troops would then lose at Wolves, draw at Brighton, then lose again at home to Everton which leaves the club 19th in the table and six points adrift of safety, with Kompany available at 6/1 to be the next top-flight boss to leave.
Chelsea have responded to back-to-back defeats to Man Utd and Chelsea with wins over Sheffield United (league) and Newcastle (cup).
The Blues remain extremely inconsistent, but on the plus side they have reached the Carabao Cup semi-finals.
Mauricio Pochettino has yet to fully convince, however, with bookmakers' cutting his odds to 10/1 in the betting.
Elsewhere, Wolves boss Gary O'Neil and Fulham's Marco Silva are both priced at 16/1, ahead of David Moyes and Chris Wilder at 20/1.
