Sheffield United - 1/5
Having began their return to the top division at 10/11, The Blades now find themselves as short as 1/5 to immediately return to the second tier.
Sheffield United spent two seasons in the Premier League previously before requiring two attempts to return to the promised land.
Paul Heckingbottom's side have five points and just one win, most notably falling victim to an 8-0 pummelling at Bramall Lane by high-flying Newcastle.
Luton - 2/7
As remarkable as Luton Town's meteoric rise has been, they have found the requirements of Premier League football very tough. The newly-promoted minnows had been positioned as the 2/5 favourites before a ball was kicked, and are now slightly shorter at 2/7 despite not being the team considered most likely to be relegated.
The Hatters are one point better off than Sheffield United and two points clear of Burnley, however, they remain in the bottom three, three points worse off than Bournemouth in 17th. Like their fellow promoted clubs, Rob Edwards' side have managed a single win, with scoring and conceding goals both major issues.
Burnley - 4/6
Having stormed last season's Championship title by accumulating 101 points, Vincent Kompany and co are in dire straits right now. The Clarets had begun the season as a 21/20 shot to suffer relegation, now shifting to 4/6 in November.
The East Lancashire club have only posted four points on the board so far, with one win and one draw from 12 matches. They have lost six straight fixtures since that 2-1 win over fellow newbies Luton and are yet to taste victory at Turf Moor this term.
Bournemouth - 5/2
After heroically finishing 15th last season, many believed The Cherries could be doomed this term having surprisingly relieved Gary O'Neill of his duties on the south coast. In August, Bournemouth were 2/1 to suffer relegation, which has recently shifted to 5/2 with positive results against Chelsea and Newcastle.
Andoni Iraola has steered his team to within three points of safety heading into the November international break, now looking forward to upcoming fixtures with Sheffield United, Crystal Palace and Luton Town from their next five outings.
Everton - 6/1
It was presumed that Everton would fail this season where they'd succeeded in the previous couple of seasons by suffering an historic first Premier League relegation. Punters who'd backed them at 7/2 pre-season looked smug when they failed to win any of their opening five matches, losing four. However, Sean Dyche has turned things around on Merseyside, winning four of his last five and establishing a sizeable distance between his team and the clawing pack.
At 6/1, they're around the price they were last season to suffer the same fate. Difficult matches against Man Utd, Newcastle and Chelsea all loom, but if The Toffees can get something from any of those, they'll be sure to further ease any danger of the drop.
Fulham - 6/1
Pundits and fans alike were unsure the effect that losing talisman Aleksandar Mitrovic would have on Fulham. Given the speculation surrounding boss Marco Silva also, the 7/2 initially offered on them to be in bottom three come May was not a ridiculous punt to have considered.
Four months into the 2023/24 campaign has The Cottagers sitting in 16th on 12 points and out at 6/1 to be relegated into the Championship. Their three victories have come against Everton, Luton and Sheffield United, and their safety seems relatively stable for another season given the condition of other teams lower in the table.
Others
Following those sides in the market, Nottingham Forest are an 8/1 shot. After an impressive late win over Spurs at Molineux, Wolves are now out at 16s. Crystal Palace can be found at 25/1, while the only other two teams below the 500/1 mark are West Ham and Brentford at 66/1.
