The BettingOdds boffins are back for the return of the Premier League. They've taken a look at all five televised fixtures for Gameweek 13 and offered their thoughts on the games.
Premier League Gameweek 13 Tips
Manchester City vs Liverpool
Just one point separates Manchester City and Liverpool heading into Saturday’s early kick-off at The Etihad. Seven of the last eight meetings between the two sides between have featured Over 3.5 goals and another high-scoring affair could be on the cards here. Liverpool have only won one of their last five matches away from Anfield and City can come out on top here to extend their lead at the top of the league.
Anthony Eadson's Prediction: Manchester City 3-1 Liverpool
Brentford vs Arsenal
Arsenal may not have reached the heights of last season in terms of sublime performances, yet Mikel Arteta will be reasonably satisfied with 27 points from 12 matches, which puts them a point off the summit. The Gunners face a potential thorn in the side away to Brentford, however, they have won three and lost none of the last four meetings and I think they’ll do enough to edge this one to kick-start a busy period of festive football.
Jack Kitson’s Prediction: Brentford 1-2 Arsenal
Spurs vs Aston Villa
Spurs host Aston Villa this weekend in a game that I think they should comfortably win. A lot of people are claiming the wheels are falling of Ange's Tottenham but I still see them as one of the strongest teams in the Premier League. A momentary blip in form doesn't mean much to me and I think they can bounce back against Aston Villa. If it wasn't for their dramatic game against Chelsea they'd still be unbeaten at home and I think they can get a win here. They've still won four of their five home fixtures whereas Villa have only two wins from six on the road.
Steven McQuillan's Prediction: Spurs 3-0 Aston Villa.
Everton vs Manchester United
Following the points deduction Everton will be desperate for the 3 points on offer in this fixture. The Toffees have not lost in their last three games, claiming 7 out of 9 points. However, the Red Devils have won 3 of their last 4 encounters and although United are not the team they were, I can see them getting a win here.
Michael Bates' Prediction Everton 1- 2 Manchester United
Fulham vs Wolves
After a slow start, Wolves have really kicked into gear as of late, with memorable wins over Man City and Tottenham helping earn them 11 points from a possible 15 across the last five fixtures. Fulham, on the other hand, have managed just one point from their last four Premier League outings, currently enduring a winless stretch across five outings. With The Cottagers useful against bottom-half teams and Wolves not as assured when expected to bag the win against weaker opposition, we're settling with a score draw for this result.
Luke Hamilton's Prediction: Fulham 1-1 Wolves
