Premier League Sack Race 2025/26 Odds: Ange Postecoglou the new favourite

Ange Postecoglou is the new favourite to become the third casualty of the 2025/26 Premier League Sack Race following his slow start to life at Nottingham Forest.
Graham Potter recently became the second victim of this season's Sack Race after he was axed in late September and replaced by Nuno Espirito Santo, who himself was sacked by Forest during the last international break.
Now, attention has swiftly moved over to Postecoglou, who is already fearing for his future at the City Ground.

Premier League Sack Race 2025/26 Odds: The Favourites
We've run through the top contenders to be the third exit of the season, according to the latest odds - see the full market in the odds table above.
Ange Postecoglou (Nottingham Forest): 2/5
Ange Postecoglou has only just taken charge at Nottingham Forest, but he's now the favourite to be sacked.
Since replacing Nuno Espírito Santo, the Australian has failed to win any of his first seven matches in all competitions, of which he's lost five.
Forest have managed just one point from their opening four league games under Postecoglou, leaving them just one place and one point above the relegation zone.
Ruben Amorim (Man Utd): 3/1
Ruben Amorim remains under the spotlight following an inconsistent start to the season with Man United, who he has yet to win back-to-back Premier League games as manager.
Initially touted as the man to revitalise the club, Amorim's debut 2024/25 campaign fell far short of expectations - managing just seven wins from 27 Premier League matches, with 14 defeats, as United slumped to 15th, their worst finish since 1974/75.
There haven't been any signs of improvement this season with United slumping to three defeats from their opening seven games, which leaves the club with 10 points and Amorim as the second favourite for the sack.
Unai Emery (Aston Villa): 20/1
Unai Emery is hovering around the 20/1 mark.
After narrowly missing out on a top-five finish last season, Villa fans were expecting another strong showing this campaign, especially considering their favourable run of fixtures.
However, the reality has been far from ideal, with Villa failing to win any of their opening five matches. However, they have sprung into life in recent weeks with four wins on the spin in all competitions, including back-to-back league wins.
Enzo Maresca (Chelsea): 20/1
One manager to keep a close eye on is Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca who can be backed at 20/1 with most bookmakers.
Chelsea’s 2024/25 campaign looked to be unravelling before a strong finish saw them secure Champions League football and lift the Conference League trophy. They then claimed a stunning triumph in the Club World Cup after Maresca conjured up a managerial masterclass over PSG's Luis Enrique.
As a result, Chelsea were brimming with confidence heading into the new season, only to underwhelm at the start of the campaign, although Maresca will hope the late-gasp win over Liverpool will kick-start their season.
History shows that stability is rarely a luxury at Stamford Bridge. With Chelsea’s notoriously short managerial leash, Maresca at a 20/1 could tempt those who are expecting potential turbulence in the upcoming weeks.
Vitor Pereira (Wolves): 20/1
On one hand, Wolves are rock-bottom of the Premier League table and the only club yet to pick up a win after seven games.
Yet, their boss, Vitor Pereira, has just been handed a brand new contract through to the end of the 2028 season, so he appears to be going nowhere anytime soon.
Still, the club will want to see an improvement quickly before Wolves are cut adrift at the bottom.
