Premier League Predictions 2023/24: Gameweek 10 Picks

Friday Night Football returns in the Premier League this weekend with five televised matches being shown over Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Our in-house writers have provided you with their predictions for this latest round of top-flight fixtures, including the Manchester derby and Crystal Palace vs Spurs.
Premier League Gameweek 10 Predictions
Crystal Palace vs Tottenham
Table topping Tottenham head across London to face Crystal Palace and the renewed sense of optimism since Ange Postecolgou's arrival means anything other than three points will be seen as a disappointment. Palace can be tricky, especially at home, and will be smarting after a comprehensive loss to Newcastle last time out in the league.
With that in mind, we are expecting a close encounter at Selhurst Park but with Spurs in such a rich vein of form, we'll be backing the visitors to continue their stunning start to the season in a game in which we think both sides will hit the back of the net.
Billy Grimshaw's Prediction: Palace 1-2 Spurs
Chelsea vs Brentford
Chelsea will have been devastated to not come away with all three points against Arsenal as The Blues threw away a two-goal lead. Things have started to pick up for Chelsea who have won three of their last four and if they put in a performance similar to recent weeks, they can come out winners here in the early kick-off.
Brentford managed their first win in six matches by beating strugglers Burnley by three goals to nil, and despite their successes at Stamford Bridge in the last two campaigns, we see this one being a steady home win.
Anthony Eadson's Prediction: Chelsea 2-0 Brentford
Wolves vs Newcastle
Wolves come into this one on a three game unbeaten streak and are bang in form under Gary O'Neil. However, Newcastle are also coming into this one with some impressive form having not lost in eight games with one of those being their impressive 4-1 win over PSG. What's the most concerning for Newcastle is their form away from home. They've only won one of their five away trips this season and it's no secret that they're playing their best football at home.
With this in mind I think Wolves can shock a few people here and cause an upset given their recent performances. Newcastle's sole away win comes against Sheff Utd and I believe Wolves are a much better team than the Blades. This one could get interesting.
Steven McQuillan's Prediction: Wolves 2-1 Newcastle
West Ham vs Everton
Both teams have displayed inconsistency so far this season. Despite West Ham's stronger start, they have won only one game in their last five Premier League matches, while Everton has secured victory in two out of their last five. Both sides have demonstrated their ability to score and concede goals, setting the stage for a potential stalemate between two underperforming teams.
Michael Bates' Prediction West Ham 1-1 Everton
Man Utd vs Man City
United have flattered to deceive in their two recent victories over Brentford and Sheffield United, next welcoming the nightmarish presence of neighbours Man City to Old Trafford.Pep Guardiola's side had suffered two defeats in three matches before a home win over Brighton last weekend, and who better to take these recent frustrations out on than their bitter rivals.
Erik ten Hag steered his side to a victory in this exact fixture last term, but with only one win in their last five meetings, we anticipate a narrow win for the visitors.
Luke Hamilton's Prediction: Man Utd 1-2 Man City
