Premier League 2025/26 Winner Odds
Bookmakers have sized up who they believe are in contention to lift the Premier League trophy in 2025/26, with a four-horse race now predicted. Here's what the latest odds are saying:
Liverpool: 7/4 Favourites
Liverpool have been installed as the early favourites to win back-to-back titles for the first time in the Premier League era, having last achieved this feat in the early 1980s with a hat-trick of triumphs. At the time of writing, they are 7/4 with the majority of bookmakers.
Their last title defence didn’t quite go to plan - finishing 3rd and 17 points behind Man City in 2020/21 - but there’s already renewed optimism at Anfield. Virgil van Dijk and Mo Salah have both signed new contracts, while the additions of Florian Wirtz, Hugo Ekitike, Jeremie Frimpong, and Milos Kerkez have caught the eye, adding further firepower to a squad that’s already hungry for more. The next question is: Will Alexander Isak join the party? If he does, then expect Liverpool's title odds to shorten further.
There's also the added incentive of knowing that another league title would take Liverpool to 21 top-flight titles; one clear of arch-rivals Manchester United, with both clubs currently tied on 20.
Arsenal: 9/4
Arsenal fans will need no reminding that it's been a staggering 21 years since their club last won the Premier League title. The Gunners have been handed ante-post odds of 9/4 to finally end this lengthy drought in 2025/26.
Arsenal finished as the Premier League bridesmaids for the third straight season and Mikel Arteta will no doubt be frustrated by his team's inability to capitalise on Liverpool’s rare slip-ups this season.
Arsenal have been very busy in the transfer market, bringing in Martin Zubimendi, Christian Norgaard, Kepa, and Noni Madueke, while perhaps most significantly, is the high-profile addition of striker Viktor Gyokeres, who could be the missing piece in their title jigsaw.
Man City: 10/3
Expect a huge response from a Manchester City side that fell well short in the title race this season. While Pep Guardiola’s men had won four consecutive Premier League titles before the 2024/25 campaign, there’ll be no complacency heading into the opening game against Wolves. Make no mistake, Guardiola will be more determined than ever to reclaim the crown and secure what would be his seventh league title in nine seasons.
There's been a hive of Etihad activity this summer. Kevin De Bruyne - one of the club’s all-time greats - has departed to Napoli, fellow veteran Kyle Walker has gone to Burnley, while Jack Grealish is expected to exit too. In typical City fashion, there has been some major investment in Tijjani Reijnders, Rayan Ait-Nouri, Rayan Cherki, and James Trafford as they look to refresh and reload with top-tier talent.
At 10/3, this is the biggest ante-post price we've seen on City in years, and one that could look generous once the new season kicks off. It might just be the time to get in early before their odds inevitably shorten.
Chelsea: 9/1
By far the biggest move in the betting recently has been Chelsea, whose title odds have been slashed from 20/1 to 9/1 following their Club World Cup triumph.
The Blues stunned favourites PSG with a 3-0 win in the final, delivering a statement performance in front of a global audience. Manager Enzo Maresca masterminded the result with a tactical display that saw Cole Palmer score twice, while new signing Joao Pedro also found the net.
True to form, Chelsea have continued to invest heavily. Pedro is one of several exciting additions, alongside Jamie Gittens, Jorrel Hato, Liam Delap, Dario Essugo, and Estevao, who are also arriving at Stamford Bridge; providing the squad with real depth and quality heading into the new season.
Meanwhile, Noni Madueke has departed for Arsenal and Joao Felix to Saudi Arabia, while we can expect a few more ins-and-outs before deadline day.
Best of the Rest
Some distance behind the leading quartet in the Premier League winner market, we have Manchester United who have moved above Newcastle with odds of 28/1. The Red Devils have kept the faith in manager Ruben Amorim as they look to bounce back from a shambolic 2024/25 league campaign and re-establish themselves as title contenders, with Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha adding bite to their attack.
Newcastle follow at 40/1. The Magpies have enjoyed a superb second half of the 2024/25 season, during which they lifted the Carabao Cup and secured a top-5 finish. Anthony Elanga has been signed from Nottingham Forest, but Isak could well be on his way to Anfield, which would be a huge loss.
Elsewhere, Tottenham are 50/1 under new boss Thomas Frank, with Aston Villa available at 66/1.
