Premier League Gameweek 3 Betting Tips: Selections ranging from 5/4 to 17/2

There's been plenty of drama, heartbreak and raw emotion involved in the opening weekends of the new Premier League season, and Gameweek 3 is set to continue that trend.
With another 10 matches and five televised fixtures slated for this coming weekend, we're here to deliver you our best Premier League betting tips to hopefully result in some profitable punting.
Chelsea vs Luton Town
-
Friday 25th August, 8pm, Sky Sports Main Event
In the aftermath of a 3-1 defeat to 10-man West Ham, it feels like we're far from seeing the rejuvenated Chelsea team we were promised this season under Mauricio Pochettino. Of course, it's still early doors, but that works in Luton's favour when heading to Stamford Bridge for this fixture.
All of these two teams' opening three fixtures have seen BTTS land, with Town out of action last weekend but notching at the American Express Community Stadium on the opening weekend. Bypassing the midfield and directly feeding towering forwards Carlton Morris and Elijah Adebayo is sure to offer some problems to this unsettled Chelsea defence.
Best Bet: Both Teams To Score - 5/4 @ Betfair
Bournemouth vs Tottenham
- Saturday 26th August, 12.30pm, TNT Sports 1
The Ange Postecoglou regime has got off to a flier in North London, and James Maddison's integration has been a resounding success so far. Acting as Spurs' new creative hub, the dynamic playmaker's strengths are being accentuated in this vibrant, attack-minded team.
Week-by-week he's edging closer to forming a strong connection with the likes of Richarlison and Heung-min Son, which will pose a frightening thought to opposition defences. The former Leicester attacking midfielder racked up two assists in Spurs' opening weekend draw with Brentford and now faces a Bournemouth side who shipped three at Anfield.
Best Bet: James Maddison Anytime Assist - 13/5 @ Paddy Power
Everton vs Wolves
- Saturday 26th August, 3pm
Scoring goals looks a big concern for both of these teams. But additionally, keeping them out of their own goal could also be a problem. Without the requisite quality at either end of the pitch, both Everton and Wolves could be in serious trouble come May.
Defender Max Kilman has committed five fouls across the opening two fixtures, and was punished for the trio of free-kicks he gave away against Brighton in his side's 4-1 drubbing at Molineux. Gary O'Neill has them playing with a lot more aggression, but carelessness seems to be getting the better of this team in the early stages of his tenure.
This looks an enormous price, with others in the market going as short as 19/10 for the same selection.
Best Bet: Max Kilman To Be Carded - 5/1 @ BetUK
Burnley vs Aston Villa
- Sunday 27th August, 2pm
Douglas Luiz asserted himself as Villa's designated penalty taker after coolly slotting home his side's second in a 4-0 romping over Everton. With that, we could see the Brazilian's name feature more frequently on the score sheet this season.
AVFC were handed four penalties in the Premier League last term, while in Burnley's promotion season The Clarets conceded three to Championship opposition. Not just a threat from the penalty spot, Luiz put away six 22/23 goals in the league, and following that 12-yard conversion vs Everton, boasts three goals from his last five PL appearances.
He also netted from the spot in Villa's Europa Conference League play-off first leg with Hibernian on Wednesday.
Best Bet: Douglas Luiz Anytime Goalscorer - 17/2 @ bet365
