Plymouth vs Luton Predictions
Both Plymouth and Luton have struggled to get going this season. Plymouth sit one point above the relegation zone in 20th having claimed just the one win under boss Wayne Rooney, while Luton have yet to fully adjust to life back in the second-tier with seven points from six games, however, they have shown improvement in recent weeks, achieving two consecutive victories.
I will therefore be staying clear of the match result market, but I do like the look of this 4/5 over 0.5 shots on target double which requires Morgan Whittaker and Carlton Morris to both have at least one shot on target in tonight's match.
Argyle's Whittaker has 20 goals in 49 appearances for the club. Although he has scored only once in the league this season, his shot count is very encouraging; totalling 23 shots across six matches. He has recorded at least three shots in five of those games and has achieved six shots on two occasions. Notably, he has surpassed the over 0.5 shots on target threshold in each of his last five outings.
Luton's Morris opened his account by bagging a brace in the 2-1 comeback win over Sheffield Wednesday last week. He's now had a shot on target in four of his last five matches and will be full of confidence following his match-winning performance last weekend.

The selection of over 4.5 cards is an optimal starting point for my 5/1 Bet Builder with BetMGM, considering the high card counts in the matches involving Plymouth and Luton this season.
In Plymouth's last five league fixtures, there have been at least four cards dished out, including eight in their most recent home match against Sunderland. Additionally, last month, two players from Rooney's squad were sent off during a 1-1 draw against QPR.
Luton's matches have followed a similar trend, with six out of their seven games resulting in five or more cards, including two red cards shown.
Next up I'm backing Luton at double-chance at half-time. Slow-starting Plymouth haven't been leading at the break in any of their eight league or cup matches this season, while Luton have been drawing or winning at the interval in five of their last six games in all competitions.
To enhance the Bet Builder to 5/1, I have adjusted the line to over 1.5 shots on target for Luton's Carlton Morris. Having scored his first two goals of the season last weekend, the striker, who was the top scorer for Luton in the Premier League last season and netted 20 goals during their promotion campaign, is likely to be a formidable force down at Home Park this weekend.
