Nottingham Forest vs Wolves Prediction and Betting Tips: Stalemate tipped at City Ground
Nottingham Forest have made a solid start to the season, taking four points from their opening two games, and they have the chance to put midweek penalty shootout defeat to Newcastle behind them when they host Wolves.
The visitors have suffered two league defeats in a row, losing 2-0 to Arsenal before a 6-2 hammering at the hands of Chelsea. Gary O’Neil’s side bounced back with a 2-0 win over Burnley in the EFL Cup on Wednesday and will be looking to take that form into this game.
The clash between the two kicks off at the City Ground at 3pm on Saturday, August 31st.

Forest and Wolves tend to put on competitive affairs, both teams have found the net in four of the last five meetings between the two. The Tricky Trees have not kept a clean sheet in any of the last six head-to-heads, so will be looking to shore things up at the back.
Nuno Espirito Santo made 10 changes for their midweek defeat to Newcastle, including four debutants and some of those players will be pushing for a start here.
Wolves should be able to welcome back Nelson Semedo from suspension, but remain without Sasa Kalajdzic and Enso Gonzalez due to long-term knee injuries.
The away team are currently just off the bottom spot in the table on goal difference and, with clashes against Newcastle, Aston Villa, Brighton and Liverpool their four matches following the international break, they could do with a positive result in this one.
Forest have drawn three of their last five home games and may have to settle for another stalemate in this clash.
Wolves should be able to tighten up at the back following their 6-2 defeat against Chelsea and the visitors could secure a draw in this one.
The last four meetings between these two have finished level and there may not be much to separate the two once more.
Wolves were too open against Chelsea but Forest’s style of play looks set to suit them more and they should improve upon that showing.
Losing Max Kilman and Pedro Neto in the same transfer window has been a hammer blow, but the addition of Jorgen Strand Larsen gives them a different element up front.
Three of the last four head-to-heads between these two teams have finished 1-1 and another draw looks overpriced in what looks set to be a close run thing.
Callum Hudson-Odoi netted eight times in 20 league starts last season and no Forest player has had more shots on target in their two Premier League outings than his three.
The forward is one of the Tricky Trees’ real danger men and could well be the man to find the net for the home team.
