NFL Accumulator Tips: A treble for Sunday's games, including the London Game
As we move into week 5 of the NFL season, things are starting to shape up nicely in both the AFC and NFC.
The Eagles are the only team with a 100% record so far, Zach Wilson and the Jets are entertaining the league and flirting with Gisele, Tom Brady’s week went from bad to worse after his Bucs lost to the Chiefs on Monday night, and the Houston Texans remain the only side without a W this season.
Looking ahead to this round of games, the Giants and Packers face off at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with both teams currently 3-1, the Rams and the Cowboys clash in an interesting encounter, and the Eagles face off against the Cards on Sunday evening. As always, we’ve looked ahead to the games, and picked out an acca that has caught our eye.
NFL Week 5 Acca
Starting off in London, the rampaging machine that is Saquon Barkley looked back to his best this past week, running for 146 yards from 31 carries.
The Giants make their debut visit to the London Games without a recognised QB at the time of writing, with an injury crisis plaguing the key position. With that being said, the number of carries from Barkley is only going to be a high one, as his previous 31 was up 17 on the game before. With plenty of chances to break the lines, Barkley will be key for any form of result for the Giants, and will hopefully get our big treble off to a winning start.
Next up, we’re looking to the Chargers to decimate the Browns, starting with a -16.5 point spread.
The Chargers have won four of their last five games against Cleveland, including a thumping 38-14 victory back in 2018. With Justin Herbert currently leading the league in terms of passing yards, the confidence will be sky high for LA heading into this game, especially after two solid victories recently. 9/2 looks a good price for the points spread, and that brings up the second portion of our treble.
Lastly, we’re looking at Zach Wilson and the Jets to continue the feel-good factor and secure another W this weekend. After a stunning season debut from Wilson, throwing for 252 yards and getting himself a touchdown, we think they’ll have just enough to overcome a good Dolphins side.
The Jets are on a horrible streak against the Dolphins, with just two wins in the last 10, but with the hype coming in from last weekend, that should see them through.
