NFL Accumulator Tips: Player prop four-fold for Sunday's opening games
With the NFL season finally back with us, here at BettingOdds.com, we’re going to be putting out a weekly accumulator series, covering our best prop bets ahead of the weekend fixtures.
The season got underway on Thursday night, with a fired up Josh Allen literally man handling the Super Bowl Champions, leading the Bills to a 31-10 victory over the Rams. Want more proof? Check out this video…
So into the games this weekend, where there’s some really interesting matchups on offer. The Jets vs Ravens, Titans vs Giants, Chargers vs Raiders, Cowboys vs Buccaneers, there’s interesting duels wherever you look.
With that being said, we’ve put together a four-fold acca covering games featuring on Sunday, which you can find below.
NFL acca tips
Starting off, we’re going with the machine that is Derrick Henry to record over 98.5 rushing yards against the Giants. This line landed in six of Henry’s opening seven games last season, before a broken foot ruled him out.
Henry is an absolute animal, proven by the fact that he had more rushing yards after contact (587) than any other player had managed total rushing yards after week six last year.
Henry has only ever played once against the Giants, carrying for 170 yards, scoring two TD’s. Overall, if they can get the ball to him enough, there’s only ever going to be one outcome, and he should clear this line with ease.
Next up, we’re looking at the ever dashing Joe Burrow to throw his first interception of the season against the Steelers. For what it’s worth, I think Burrow will lead the Bengals to victory on Sunday, but the defence of the Steelers, in particular the rushing capabilities of TJ Watt, will no doubt put Burrow under immense pressure.
Burrow threw 14 INT’s last season, and has form against Steelers, throwing an INT in his last two games against Pittsburgh.
Thirdly, we’re looking at one of my players to watch for the MVP award, Lamar Jackson, to score a TD during the four quarters. Jackson struggled last season, ending with a 7-5 record, but if he can get back to his best, his speed and agility can cause the Jets another kind of problem.
During the 2019 and 2020 seasons, Lamar recorded seven rushing TD’s in each, and he has a good record against the Jets. He’s faced them once before, throwing for five TD’s, and if he can drive his team up the field, especially with a healthy lead, don’t be surprised to see him take the ball on himself.
Finally, the back-to-back regular MVP, Mr. Aaron Rodgers himself, rounds off our acca, with a 5/6 shout on the overs line. Rodgers has cleared the over 258.5 line on each of his last four games against the Vikings, registering 288, 385, 291 and 364 respectively.
He’ll look to start where he left off last season, and put a marker down as he works towards another Super Bowl Championship. Should this acca land, a £10 stake will return £154 with Paddy Power.
Best of luck if you’re following these selections, and please gamble responsibly.
