Neymar Next Club Odds: Chelsea and Barcelona linked with Brazilian superstar

The subject of Neymar's future has burst back into the headlines following a report from French outlet L'Equipe which states that the Brazilian superstar has told PSG that he wants to leave this summer.
We've taken a look at what the betting market suggests for his next move...
Chelsea
Chelsea seem to always be keeping tabs on Neymar and as a club they are definitely not shy of spending money, with the PSG player believed to be available for around £60m.
At the time of writing, Chelsea are as short as 6/4 to sign Neymar, although you can still find odds of 4/1 for this outcome.
The Neymar-to-Chelsea rumours will only heighten following the news that their summer signing, Christopher Nkunku, has picked up an untimely injury which is likely to rule him out for at least a couple of months.
Whether Mauricio Pochettino would be willing to reunite with Neymar is open to debate. The Argentine, who managed the 31-year-old at PSG, is attempting to instigate a new era at the Blues with a focus on taking his current crop of young, talented players to the next level.
Meanwhile, at this stage of his career, Neymar is surely looking to play in the Champions League, which is a competition Chelsea won't be in next season following their dismal 12th-place finish last term.
Barcelona
Neymar has his heart set on a return to Barcelona, reports the Evening Standard.
His odds have been shortened to just 13/8 with Paddy Power/Betfair, although BetVictor still offer 4/1 on a return.
Neymar spent a hugely successful four years at Barcelona between 2013 and 2017, during which he won the treble, before switching to PSG for a world-record £200m.
Xavi and Neymar were of course teammates, but the latter may not fit into the former's plans in his new look Barcelona, while the club could well be priced out of a move.
Any MLS club
Neymar could potentially be following in Lionel Messi's footsteps with a shock move to the MLS. The Brazilian and the Argentine are like two peas in a pod and have often shared their career with each other, this time we could see them on opposite sides of the MLS. Neymar was available at around the 20/1 mark for a move to the MLS and in the past few hours he has been backed into 10/3 to join any MLS side. Neymar has reportedly ruled out a move to Saudi despite that being the hot league to join at the moment with the money they're offering.
LAFC is the club most frequently mentioned. Various journalists are reporting that Neymar is very open to a move to the States and that would definitely allow him to grow his brand in America, with this now the second favourite option in the betting if he is to leave this summer.
Any Saudi Arabian Team
You simply can't mention a high-profile transfer these days without a shout out to the Saudi Arabian clubs, who have taken the transfer market by storm this season.
With Neymar wanting to leave PSG, you can expect a big money offer to soon come through from Saudi Arabia, with a whopping 14/1 up for grabs on any team from the country landing his signature.
The likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, and Roberto Firmino are all over in the Middle East, and it probably won't come as a huge shock if Neymar opted to join them.
