Neymar Next Club Odds: Man Utd leading the market for Brazilian superstar

Neymar is always being linked with a move away from PSG and despite the club paying the big bucks for him and having a solid season so far, they are reportedly ready to listen to offers, with Neymar’s agent already on the hunt for a new club for the Brazilian.
We’ll take a look at what the betting market suggests for his next move and talk you through the odds.

Man Utd
Like most big transfers, Manchester United are mentioned but this time they actually come in as the favourites to sign the most expensive man in football. It looks as though Neymar and his team have been the ones to reach out to Man Utd to see if his services are wanted at Old Trafford and it’s a hard thing to turn down considering how good of a player Neymar is.
United manager Erik Ten Hag has not completely dismissed the rumours. He was asked in his recent press conference about signing Neymar and his response was: “When we have news we will tell you”.
Normally you’d expect a manager to rule out a signing of this calibre so it does look like there are some legs to this one.
Whether Man Utd need him is a different question, having already spent £100m on Antony and £75m on Sancho to occupy the spots out wide.
However, Man Utd are not shy of overpaying for an aging star. Neymar’s actual transfer fee may be relatively affordable for the club but the wages the Brazilan will be demanding will blow the socks off of most Premier League clubs.
It’d be interesting to see Neymar in the Premier League but it seems like a massive investment for someone in the latter stages of his career.
Chelsea
Chelsea seem to always be keeping tabs on Neymar and as a club that are definitely not shy of spending money: this is a move that makes sense.
Chelsea have had a rough season and they’ll be looking to start another rebuild in the summer and owner Todd Boehly has proved he is not shy of splashing the cash.
Chelsea are reported to be interested in a number of players this upcoming window with Osimhen, Neymar and Kounde all on their radar. Neymar would fit Chelsea very well and they’d be more than happy to pay his wages, but there’s one big problem.
Chelsea have missed out on European football next season and are most likely finishing 12th in the Premier League which is a terrible showing for one of the top teams. Would Neymar really be interested in a club with no Champions League football? It’s doubtful.
Barcelona
Barcelona seem to love their nostalgic signings at the moment with the club putting all their eggs into the Lionel Messi basket in the hope of a dream return to Camp Nou. However, this probably means the end of any hopes of Neymar returning to Barcelona.
There’s no way they’d go for Neymar instead of Lionel Messi and with Messi being a very short price with the betting sites to resign for Barcelona, it’s probably best to look elsewhere in the market for Neymar.
Who knows, if Messi falls through then they could go back to Neymar? It still seems very doubtful
Real Madrid
Barcelona’s greatest rivals Real Madrid are also mentioned in the betting and they’ve had a transfer saga with him in the past. However, this time it doesn’t look likely.
There are no concrete rumours linking the Brazilian to the club and I believe they’re in the market just in case Vinicius Jr leaves - the latter has been recently linked with Man Utd.
That move is very doubtful though and with how good he has been, there’s no reason to sign Neymar to replace him.
If something concrete comes out linking Neymar to Madrid then maybe keep an eye on the market but, for now, nothing has been mentioned and they have already failed to secure him on one occasion in the past.
