Next Man Utd Manager Odds: Latest odds to replace the under-fire Erik ten Hag

Man Utd's hopes of progressing through to the Champions League knockout stages were dealt a damaging blow after they lost 4-3 to Copenhagen.
It was the club's ninth defeat in 17 matches in all competitions this season, and third loss in four games, leaving Erik ten Hag's future at the club under the microscope as we approach November's international break.
Ten Hag is currently the 11/8 favourite in the Premier League Sack Race and, with the under-fire Dutchman's future looking increasingly bleak, bookmakers are offering odds on the Man Utd manager market, which we've had a look at below.

Zinedine Zidane, 6/1, is currently favoured with bookmakers to replace ten Hag should he be sacked.
The Frenchman has been out-of-work since he left Real Madrid in May 2021. Across two spells at the helm he won 11 trophies, including the Champions League three times and two La Liga titles.
Zidane has long been linked with a move to Man Utd, but has never appeared to be totally convinced that it's the right job for him, while he's previously spoken about his concerns over a potential language barrier:
When people say to me: ‘Do you want to go to Manchester?’ I understand English but I don’t fully master it.
I know that there are coaches who go to clubs without speaking the language, but I work differently.
Graham Potter is surprisingly short at 8/1. He may be unemployed at the moment but it's difficult to see Man Utd approaching the Englishman following his disappointing stint at Chelsea.
Similarly, if ten Hag was to be dismissed soon, then Julian Nagelsmann (10/1) to Old Trafford appears unlikely given that he's only just taken charge of Germany, with whom he'll lead at Euro 2024 next summer: their home tournament.
Of the current Premier League managers listed in the odds, Roberto De Zerbi makes for intriguing reading at 9/1.
The Italian has done a superb job at Brighton since replacing Graham Potter in September 2022, installing an exciting, attacking, and entertaining brand of football.
De Zerbi propelled Brighton into Europe for the first time in history, while he's overseen high-scoring wins against the likes of Chelsea (4-1), Arsenal (3-0 and 3-1), Liverpool (3-0), and has twice beaten ten Hag's Man Utd, including a 3-1 victory at Old Trafford in September.
High-profile managers who are currently unemployed include former Real Madrid and Wolves boss Julen Lopetegui and ex-Chelsea and Tottenham manager Antonio Conte (both 16/1).
Lopetegui has top club experience during an admittedly brief spell at Real Madrid, while he was unbeaten over 20 matches as manager of Spain, and led Sevilla to Europa League glory before saving Wolves from the drop last season and taking them to a 13th place finish.
Conte (16/1), who has been hotly linked to Man Utd in the past, is obviously a top-level manager with a wealth of experience and success, but is unlikely to be the right fit for Man Utd, especially after the explosive end to his Tottenham tenure.
The lack of high-quality available managers right now is perhaps reflected by the fact two former Man Utd coaches, Michael Carrick and Kieran McKenna, are in the betting at 14/1 and 20/1 respectively.
Both managers have, of course, done stellar jobs at Middlesbrough (Carrick) and Ipswich (McKenna), but jumping up into the Man Utd hot seat appears to be a step too soon for both bosses. One day in the future though perhaps, with Carrick already overseeing United for three matches as caretaker two years ago.
Other managers that feature in the market include Atletico Madrid's long-serving boss Diego Simeone (25/1), Brentford's Thomas Frank (33/1), Xabi Alonso (40/1) who has enjoyed a superb start to the season with Bayer Leverkusen, while Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is 25/1 to make a shock return to the Old Trafford touchline.
If United are to go down the route of appointing another former legendary striker to 'steady the ship', ten Hag's fellow Dutchman Ruud van Nistelrooy is an option after leaving PSV at the culmination of last season. The former Red Devils No.10 is 50/1 to succeed his countryman.
