Next Celtic Manager Odds: Betting suspended on Brendan Rodgers

Celtic appear to be edging closer to appointing a new manager after their treble-winning boss, Ange Postecoglou, switched jobs to take charge of Tottenham.
Postecoglou won five of the six available domestic trophies during his two-year tenure at Celtic, propelling the club back to league glory following Rangers' triumph under Steven Gerrard.
The Australian scooped the league title and both Scottish cups in 2022/23 and will now bid to become the boss who can transform Tottenham.
Postecoglou's fellow treble-winner Brendan Rodgers has featured prominently in the next Celtic manager odds since the get-go, with a return now looking extremely likely after bookmakers suspended betting on the market.
BBC Sport reports that Celtic are in advanced talks with their former boss, who won all seven domestic trophies available during his two-and-a-half years at the club and even oversaw a remarkable 69-game unbeaten run in Scotland which set a new record.
He would go on to win a historic FA Cup at Leicester City who twice finished in the top-5 under his tutorship, only for the Foxes to completely crumble last season, which resulted in his exit. Soon after they were relegated under his replacement Dean Smith.
If negotiations between Celtic and Rodgers were to break down, then this could see Enzo Maresca come back into the mix.
Maresca is currently working as Pep Guardiola's assistant at Man City, who completed a famous treble over the weekend after they beat Inter Milan to win the Champions League for the first time.
The Italian previously oversaw City's Elite Development Squad, where he won the Premier League 2 title, and had a short stint in charge of Parma in Serie B.
Former Norwich City boss Daniel Farke was another name in the frame as he seeks a return to the touchline after he was sacked by Borussia Moenchengladbach earlier this month.
As was Bodø/Glimt boss Kjetil Knutsen who has been linked with a move to both Scotland and England over the last couple of years but nothing has yet materialised, while there are reports that he's emerged as a target for Ajax.
On a small budget and an attractive brand of football, he's won two Norwegian titles and thrice been named the Eliteserien Coach of the Year.
He famously handed Jose Mourinho the heaviest defeat of his career in a 6-1 Europa Conference League win over Roma in 2021/22 and beat Celtic twice in that same season.
However, at the time of writing all signs point to a Rodgers return.
