Newcastle vs. Wolves Betting Tips: Low scoring affair expected in the North East

The weekend's Premier League action comes to a close at St James' Park on Sunday afternoon when Newcastle host Wolves, live on Sky Sports at 4.30pm.
Tipster Wizard has previewed the match and provided his two best bets.
Live on Sky Sports, Newcastle host Wolves in the Premier League this SundaySt. James’ Park and we’ve got Tipster Wizard on hand with his best bets for the game.
The hosts sit sixth in the league table with 41 points, four behind the Champions League spots with two games in hand over fourth placed Tottenham. However, they come into this game in poor form as they are now winless in their last five Premier League games, failing to score in their last three in all competitions and losing the Carabao Cup final in that run. They will still be pleased by the progress from last season and feel they are still in with a chance to make the all-important top-four spots if they can turn their form around starting with this game against Wolves.
As for the visitors, they sit 13th in the league table with 27 points, just five points above the relegation spots. They were three games without a win before pulling off a narrow 1-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur last weekend.
Lopetegui’s men will come into this game with confidence after that win but considering Newcastle have lost just once at home all season, pulling off a result will not be an easy task for Wolves. A tightly contested affair is expected and as usual I have you covered with 2 of my best betting angles below:
Team News:
Emil Krafth, Joelinton & Ryan Fraser are out for Newcastle while Fabian Schar is doubtful.
Sasa Kalajdzic, Chiquinho, Hugo Bueno & Diego Costa are out for Wolves while Boubacar Traore & Hwang Hee-Chan are doubtful.
Newcastle possible starting lineup:
Pope, Trippier, Schar, Botman, Burn, Longstaff, Bruno, Willock, Almiron, Isak, Maximan
Wolves possible starting lineup:
Sa, Semedo, Dawson, Kilman, Jonny, Neves, Lemina, Sarabia, Nunes, Neto, Jimenez
Newcastle vs Wolves Tips
Newcastle have conceded the fewest number of goals in the league this season while Wolves have scored the joint-least goals (19). Eight of Newcastle’s last nine games in all competitions have seen the “Under 2.5 goals” selection land.
They have only scored two goals in their last five games in all competitions and when you combine that with Wolves’ goalscoring record, then we have all the ingredients of a low-scoring encounter here. At 7/10, there is enough value for us to get involved with a 1pt stake to make this our main bet for this game.
Following on from our main bet, I am happy to take a small punt on a goalless affair considering both teams’ goalscoring form. With the “No goalscorer” selection, we are also covered in case there is an own goal in this game, unlike backing the correct score. Six premier league games involving Newcastle have already ended goalless this season so I’m happy to back this with a small 0.25pt stake as our second bet for this game.
Best of luck if you follow these selections. Please always gamble responsibly.
