However, they come into this game in poor form as they are now winless in their last five Premier League games, failing to score in their last three in all competitions and losing the Carabao Cup final in that run. They will still be pleased by the progress from last season and feel they are still in with a chance to make the all-important top-four spots if they can turn their form around starting with this game against Wolves.

As for the visitors, they sit 13th in the league table with 27 points, just five points above the relegation spots. They were three games without a win before pulling off a narrow 1-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur last weekend. 

Lopetegui’s men will come into this game with confidence after that win but considering Newcastle have lost just once at home all season, pulling off a result will not be an easy task for Wolves.
