Newcastle vs Bournemouth Prediction, Lineups and Odds: Back Isak to continue stunning streak

Newcastle enter Saturday’s early kick-off against Bournemouth aiming to secure their tenth consecutive win across all competitions as they bit to continue their impressive run of form.
However, the Magpies face a tough challenge against the Cherries, who are unbeaten in their last ten league and cup matches.
Matthew O'Regan previews the match and shares his top betting tips.
Newcastle vs Bournemouth Predictions
Both sides will be buoyed with their midweeks; Bournemouth held Chelsea to a 2-2 draw; while Newcastle continued their rich vein of form by dismantling lowly Wolves 3-0.
The Cherries are now 10 games unbeaten in all competitions, with their last loss coming in a 1-2 home defeat to Brighton back in November. Since then, they have beaten Tottenham at home, defeated Manchester United away, and drawn with Chelsea. Andoni Iraola’s side are real European contenders and know a win at St James' Park will take them up to sixth for the time being.
The south coast side have been strong in attack, scoring 32 goals while their 25 conceded is the fewest outside the top four. The recent injuries suffered by Evanilson and Enes Ünal are a blow, but Bournemouth still looked strong in front of goal at Stamford Bridge.
The attacking duo aren’t the only ones missing with injuries. Adam Smith, Julian Araujo, Marco Senesi, Alex Scott, Marcus Tavernier, James Hill and Luis Sinisterra will all miss out.
Newcastle’s 3-0 win over Wolves was their ninth straight win in all competitions, keeping a clean sheet in six of the eight games against Premier League opposition, including against Aston Villa (H), Manchester United (A), and Arsenal (A).
After a slow start to the season, Eddie Howe’s side are flying and look hard to beat. Howe seems to have found his best team, with his powerful midfield amongst the best in Europe. The Toon Army now sit in fourth, just nine points off leaders Liverpool. While the title looks out of reach, a few more wins may make The Reds sit up and take notice of the ferocious Geordie train.
Newcastle have been boosted by the return of Sven Botman at the heart of the defence and he is expected to partner Fabian Schar who should slot back into the side after recovering from illness. Callum Wilson, Harvey Barnes, Jamal Lascelles and Nick Pope are all set to be absent.
This bet feels like a no-brainer with the form he is in. The Swede has now scored in his last seven Premier League games, including a hat-trick at Ipswich and a brace at home to Wolves. He also scored in the clinical 2-0 win over Arsenal at the Emirates in the EFL Cup semi-final.
There is a strong argument to be made that the 25-year-old is the best striker in the world at the moment, scoring 15 goals and registering five assists in just 19 Premier League starts.
In the league, Isak is averaging 0.87 goals per 90 from 3.38 shots and 1.63 on target. Odds of 5/6 for him to score in an eighth straight Premier League game looks tempting - especially given that Newcastle are at home.

There is a strong correlation between the upturn in form for Newcastle and the return to the first-team fold for Sandro Tonali. The Italian was handed a 10-month ban for gambling which ended on the 28th of August.
The 24-year-old has been a mainstay in the side since and Newcastle are reaping the rewards. Tonali partners the powerful Brazilian duo of Joelinton and Bruno Guimaraes in midfield and is seen as the more creative and technical cog in the side.
Joelinton and Guimaraes’ running power, allows Tonali more attacking freedom, which was shown when he scored a wonderful brace in the 3-1 EFL Cup win over Brentford. The Italian has now had a shot in his last eight starts, averaging 1.36 shots per 90.
He has also shown he is not afraid to do the dirty work, averaging 1.40 fouls per 90. Tonali has made at least one foul in nine of his last ten starts - only failing in the 4-0 dismantling of Leicester.
