New Zealand vs Sri Lanka Tips
New Zealand have seen their chances of qualifying for the semi-final of the World Cup come under threat off the back of four losses in a row.
Their biggest performer at the crease has been Rachin Ravindra, who currently sits third in the overall run scorer list, with 523 runs. The top order batsman has averaged almost 75 runs per match and will be needed to see off a Sri Lanka side that have also struggled in recent games.
Sri Lanka have lost their last three games, eliminating them from semi-final contention. Many people's choice for dark horses in the competition have struggled to build on wins over Netherlands and England, and are now playing for pride.
A price of 7/2 with BetMGM represents good value for a player that will be looking to lead from the front and hit his side to qualification.
New Zealand’s two big hitters will need to be on form in this encounter and boundaries will be key to their success.
Both players have hit over 3.5 4s three times in the tournament so far, with Ravindra hitting the boundary 49 times and Conway finding the rope on 42 occasions. Combined they hit an average of 11 fours per match in the tournament, making this a great value shout in a game they have to win.
New Zealand will be looking for a victory to keep themselves in pole position for qualification but Sri Lanka will be hoping to end the tournament on a high.
