Netherlands vs. England third ODI Odds: Salt to shake up the Dutch again

Netherlands vs. England third ODI Odds
England's white ball boys have carried on the momentum from the New Zealand test series and have strolled to a 2-0 series-winning lead in this rare tour of the Netherlands. We've asked our resident village hoiker Adam Roberts to preview the third ODI and he's picked out a couple of bets he likes the look of. After a 4/1 winner last time out with Jos Buttler to top score, can he pick us out some more tasty winners?
Netherlands vs. England Tips
This tour of the Netherlands couldn't have really gone any better for the England team. There has been no blip after the new appointment of Matthew Mott, England set a new world record international ODI score of 498 (see below) and the new players such as Phil Salt and Brydon Carse have fitted in seamlessly alongside the established superstars. Only one issue remains - the form of skipper Eoin Morgan, who has registered two ducks so far and must be seriously worried about losing his place.
The 35-year-old has built up some serious goodwill with a 2019 World Cup win and some ridiculous innings over the years. However, nothing can disguise Morgan's struggles with the willow. He hasn't passed 50 for 24 games and has just one in his last 50 innings in all formats. With two white ball World Cups in the next 17 months this needs addressing and quickly. There are some seriously talented batters waiting in the wings and with Root, Stokes and Bairstow set to return, it's difficult to see where Captain Morgan fits into this batting line up.
One perfect way to answer his critics would be to smash a quick hundred here in Amstelveen to round off the perfect tour...
Team news:
Scott Edwards will retain the captaincy for the hosts in the place of Pieter Seelar who announced his retirement with immediate effect during the 2nd ODI.
Brydon Carse should keep his spot in the side for the tourists but Reece Topley could be rested for the returning Sam Curran.
My first selection is on new boy Phil Salt to top score for England. The Lancashire man has slotted into the top order beautifully alongside Jason Roy and his aggressive hard-hitting style is perfect for this white ball side. The 25-year-old former Sussex Academy graduate scored his first ODI century in the first match of this tour, registering 122 before top scoring in the 2nd ODI with 77.
Salt has been boosted out to 4/1 with bet365 while he is as short as 3/1 elsewhere. If he gets firing again early it's an exceptional price.
The second pick is for David Willey to be top bowler for England. The 32-year-old announced he was leaving current club Yorkshire last week to return to Northants but is still causing problems with the new ball for England in the white ball format. Willey is one of the few bowlers in world cricket who is able to extract genuine swing with the white Kookaburra which makes him a threat in either format. Willey picks up caught behinds, LBW's and often bowls openers through the gate with his late inswing. Averaging 31 with 69 wickets in ODI's and having taken two wickets in each ODI so far, Willey is a good bet to lead the attack again here.
The boosted 11/2 on at 365 only strengthens the selection.
Good luck and enjoy the cricket.
