There's an extra layer of excitement ahead of this Manchester Derby as it will be the first one to be played at Old Trafford, with over 40,000 tickets sold already.
Man Utd sit 3rd in the table with three wins and three draws from their opening six games. In fact, they've not suffered a defeat in the WSL in 13 matches stretching back to March.
Marc Skinner's side have warmed up nicely for Sunday's clash, having scored a whopping 19 goals in their last four matches in all competitions, during which they've hammered Everton twice (5-0 and 7-0) and beaten West Ham (5-0).
Man City are two points behind Man Utd in 6th after a return of 10 points from their first four matches was followed by back-to-back losses to Arsenal and Brighton.
Given the immense form of Chelsea at the top of the table - 19 points from a possible 21 - this is a match that both Manchester clubs need to win.
Man Utd Women vs Man City Women Tips
Man Utd have already carded more league draws (three) than the whole of last season (two), having shared the honours with Arsenal, Leicester, and Brighton, while they also drew their home tie against PSG in the Champions League qualifying rounds.
Two of their three league home games this term have ended all-even, as have three of their last five meetings with Man City, which leans me towards this outcome at 12/5 for the first tip.
Man City's bright start to the season has been punctured by consecutive defeats to Arsenal and Brighton, which isn't exactly ideal preparation ahead of the Manchester Derby, especially considering that they've never won away to the Reds in the WSL.
However, they are the only club to take points off leaders Chelsea so far after playing out a 1-1 draw with nine men, while were unfortunate not to pick up a point away to Arsenal, a game they lost in the 87th minute.
We're only six games into the new season but already three Man Utd players have scored three or more goals: Rachel Williams (4), Nikita Parris (3), and Melvine Malard (3).
At 11/4, I'm backing the in-form Parris to add to her tally on Sunday.
The striker has scored six goals in her last four matches in all competitions, including a hat-trick against Everton 10 days ago.
