Liverpool have made a fast start under Arne Slot, collecting maximum points from their opening two games. However, the early litmus test will come at Old Trafford on Sunday after modest wins over Ipswich and Brentford.
They look to have adapted well so far under the Dutchman's instructions, having displayed a good amount of tactical flexibility which is a promising trait ahead of a tricky fixture against a rival club.
United themselves will be buoyed by a strong head-to-head record of late, winning two and drawing two of the last five encounters - that 7-0 drubbing at Anfield being the outlier.
That being said, their clean sheet versus Fulham was United's first at Old Trafford since 9th March and despite some apparent stability, their problems have far from evaporated.
The Reds have also only lost one of their last six trips to Old Trafford, with only Manchester City flaunting more away wins against United.
This shaven, streamlined version of Mohamed Salah appears to have a new lease of life with the Reds and could well be an even deadlier weapon under Arne Slot. He's scored two goals in two games, had seven shots and hit the target with five of those.
Most impressive is Salah's emphatic record against the Red Devils - his favourite opponent if we're going purely off goal contributions. Salah boasts 14 goals in 15 appearances, scoring in all but one of his last nine encounters with United and netting 10 in total; scoring two or more on three separate occasions.
The Egyptian is also arguably playing with more freedom right now, having stated that he intends to enjoy the last year of his contract at Anfield without putting too much thought into his future.
It wouldn't be a bet builder for an important Manchester United match without the inclusion of Bruno Fernandes. United's skipper is always at the heart of his team's actions - good or bad - and is set to embrace this weekend's added responsibility in such a pivotal clash.
Bruno has four yellows in nine fixtures against Liverpool, having been booked in three of his last five versus LFC. Given his penchant for chaos and disruption, United's No.8 is invariably worth getting onside in the cards market.
