I'm stopping short of backing the Toon outright for the win, but I do think they will come away with something in the double-chance market.

Despite Man City's inconsistencies, Erling Haaland has rediscovered his scoring form, netting nine goals in his last nine games. He bagged a brace in the midweek loss to Real Madrid and found the net in the 5-1 defeat against Arsenal. While the match outcome is hard to call, Haaland appears well-positioned to extend his streak as he bids to chase down Mo Salah in the race for the Golden Boot.

Another contender for the Top Goalscorer gong is Alexander Isak, who has 17 goals in 22 league appearances this season. He's been in exceptional form, scoring 13 times in his last 11 league matches and finding the net in six consecutive away games. That run includes a hat-trick against Ipswich and a brace in his side’s most recent away win at Southampton.
