Liverpool Quadruple Odds: Could Klopp's side claim all four trophies this season?

Liverpool have already claimed one trophy this season after lifting the Carabao Cup, and after their victory over Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup last weekend the Reds booked their place in the FA Cup Semi Finals. Off the back of that win, we’ve taken a look at the odds available for the Reds to do the unthinkable with a famous quadruple.
February's triumph was the first time that Liverpool have won the League Cup since 2012 and they now go in search of the quadruple, something no English team has ever achieved. At the start of the season, bet365 had 1000/1 on offer for Liverpool to win four trophies this season, but after Sunday's victory, that same selection is being offered at just 20/1.
Those odds of 20/1 imply just a 4.8%% chance of the quad happening this season, but for that to happen Liverpool will have to win their first FA Cup since all the way back in 2006. The task of winning England's oldest football competition has not been made any easier by drawing Manchester City in the semi's with Liverpool the second-favorites to lift the trophy behind City at 2/1.
Many had thought the Premier League title race to be over around a month ago but after a strong start to the calendar year, Liverpool are now just one point behind Manchester City in the table. Liverpool travel to the Etihad to take on the reigning champions on April 10, which could well prove a decisive date in the schedule. After hitting a high of 12/1 in mid-January, Liverpool are now just 13/8 to claim a second title in three seasons.
After a 2-1 aggregate win in their Round of 16 tie against Inter Milan, things are also looking rosy on the Champions League front for Klopp’s side. The six time winners of the European Cup will play Benfica in the quarter-finals, with the first leg being played in Portugal on 5 April, and can be backed as 2/1 joint-favourites to go all the way in 2022.
Of course for Liverpool to win all three of the competitions they remain in this season it would take something truly extraordinary. There is the small matter of Manchester City to overcome, and with Guardiola’s side priced as favourites or joint-favourites with the bookmakers in all three of those, the odds are stacked against Liverpool.
However, with Mohamed Salah having scored 28 goals across the Premier League and Champions League this campaign and with new signing Luis Diaz taking to his new surroundings like a duck to water, the Reds look to be a team hitting form at just the right time and it will be interesting to see how the remainder of the season pans out in the next two months.
