Leicester vs. West Ham Betting Tips: Back Declan Rice to score at The King Power

Leicester host West Ham on the final day of the Premier League season and we’ve asked Anthony Eadson to preview the action and provide us with his best bets.
The Foxes must win this game if they are to avoid being relegated to the Championship. They would become only the second Premier League winning team to be relegated to the second-tier along with Blackburn Rovers. Leicester could also still be relegated despite winning, if Everton manage to get the better of Bournemouth.
West Ham have a European Final to look forward to ten days after their final league fixture. Their top-flight status is already secured for next term and they arrive here off the back of a 3-1 win over Leeds in the capital last Sunday.
Leicester vs West Ham Tips
I had in my head that this would be an ideal opponent for Leicester on the final day with some West Ham players maybe a little wary of getting injured for the Conference League final. However, I feel the market has massively overestimated Leicester’s ability and recent form, with them priced as the odds on favourites in the match result market at 10/11.
That’s way too short in my opinion and I feel the value is on the opposite side and I’m therefore recommending West Ham to win or draw the game at 19/20.
Dean Smith’s side managed just one shot away at Newcastle on Monday and I think there is a serious question over their motivation. This Leicester side have only won one of their last 15 matches and with West Ham having won four of their last five I think they are a generous price here in the double chance market.
I’m also having a couple of quid on Declan Rice to score anytime in the match. Unibet go 21/2 on this selection with other betting sites such as Betfred going considerably shorter at 4/1.
This could well be Rice’s last league game for The Hammers and it would be very fitting for him to score on this occasion. He found the net against Leeds last weekend in a game where he let off three shots. He has scored in three of his last eight starts across all competitions and 21/2 looks too big here. I also think there could be an outside chance he could be on penalty duty at The King Power.
