There is a degree of uncertainty surrounding the Premier League returners Leicester City following a summer of change which included losing title-winning manager Enzo Maresca and star midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall to Chelsea, while a potential points deduction looms over the club like a dark cloud.
Former Nottingham Forest boss Steve Cooper has returned to the top-flight dugout in a complete switch of styles from the possession-based philosophy of Maresca. As pragmatism and counter-attacks become the norm, it will no doubt take the players time to adjust to his system.
Still, Cooper inherits a side that won 31 games and scored 89 goals in the Championship last season. While they face a tough opener against Spurs, the hosts will fancy their chances of breaching a defence that conceded 61 league goals last season, with both teams to score the first leg of my three-pronged Bet Builder for Leicester vs Tottenham.

After an underwhelming second-half of the season which concluded with missing out on Euro 2024, I expect James Maddison to be galvanised heading into the new campaign. He still managed to record nine 2023/24 Premier League assists, five of which came in his opening eight games, including a brace of assists on the opening day. With so much attacking talent around him on Monday, the playmaker appeals at 23/10 to set-up one of his teammates at the King Power.
