Leeds vs Sheffield Wednesday Prediction, Odds and Betting Tips: Best bets for today's lunchtime Championship fixture

Yorkshire rivals Leeds and Sheffield Wednesday clash in what promises to be a fiery Championship fixture from Elland Road.
Read on for our best tips for today's lunchtime clash, which is available to watch on ITV1 and ITVX and also Sky Sports Main Event and Football.
Leeds vs Sheffield Predictions
Championship leaders Leeds haven't done much wrong over the course of the season but there are signs that they are struggling to overpower teams.
Since needing a 79th minute winner to win 1-0 at Derby they have drawn back-to-back league games against Blackburn (1-1) and Hull (3-3).
Then last weekend they huffed and they puffed but almost failed to blow Harrogate's house down, eventually beating their League Two neighbours just 1-0 in an FA Cup tie.
None of this screams 'crisis' but it does confirm what plenty of Leeds fans know, that they are struggling to turn pressure into chances into goals.
They are still in a position of strength in the promotion race but they have dropped points in their last two games and can expect a scrap from Yorkshire rivals Sheffield Wednesday, who have hit form to emerge as a play-off contender.
Wednesday under Danny Rohl have improved as the campaign has progressed and have lost just two of their last 12 games in all competitions.
They can tap into the tension which is sure to be in the air at Elland Road and as a side now within striking distance of the play-off places, they are more than capable of avoiding defeat.
Leeds are understandably a skinny price; the draw-Wednesday double chance option at 2/1 looks far more attractive.
Leeds vs Sheffield Betting Offer
BetMGM offer to the new customers £40 in Free Bets by depositing at least £10 and placing a single bet of £10 or more with odds of 1/1 (2.0) or higher.
The £40 Free Bets are divided into four £10 bets:
- 1 x £10 Horse Racing
- 1 x £10 Football
- 2 x £10 Bet Builder
Seven of Leeds' last 10 matches have produced two goals or less so make under 2.5 goals the bedrock of a two-leg betbuilder which works out at 4/1.
Leg two should be Leeds' corners - and plenty of them. Over 8.5 to be precise.
Even when they are winning - which they do plenty of at Elland Road - Daniel Farke's men win plenty of corners. They average 8.3 corners per home game.
If Wednesday frustrate them as well as can be expected, the pressure is going to be even more intense, with the prospect of a corners windfall as Leeds bomb forward.
