League One Winner Odds 2023/24: Rams fancied to top the table

The 2023/24 League One campaign begins on Saturday 5th August and today at BettingOdds.com we’ve taken a look at the League winner odds for the English third-tier.
Derby 9/2
Derby missed out on the play-offs by just one point last season, having occupied the automatic places a few months prior. Manager Paul Warne has been promoted three times from this division and The Rams have been instilled as the 9/2 favourites to lift the title in May.
Bolton 8/1
After being 14/1 for League One glory last term, Bolton managed to reach the play-offs but lost out to Barnsley in the semi-finals. Ian Evatt has brought stability back to the Lancashire club and this time round they are 8/1 with Unibet to top the table.
Barnsley 9/1
The Tykes lost out at Wembley in the play-off final due to a 120th-minute goal from Josh Windass, which saw Yorkshire rivals Sheffield Wednesday promoted back to the Championship. Barnsley will be eyeing an automatic spot in 2023/24 and are 9/1 with most firms to win the league.
Portsmouth 10/1
Portsmouth appointed John Mousinho as head coach in January with the 36-year-old taking 39 points from 29 matches. Pompey fell seven points short of the top-six last term and with positivity around Fratton Park, they are chalked up at 10/1 in the League One winner market.
Peterborough 10/1
Johnson Clarke-Harris was the division’s top scorer last season with 26 goals, but his future at the club remains uncertain. Most bookmakers had Posh priced at 10/1 to win the league last term and they are the same odds for the forthcoming campaign.
Reading 12/1
We then have the first of the newly relegated sides from the Championship in Reading. The Royals suffered a points deduction last season and have been chalked up at 12/1 to finish top and bounce back at the first attempt.
Blackpool 16/1
The Tangerines also suffered relegation from the second-tier last season. Manager Neil Critchley was promoted with Blackpool from League One two years ago and for those who fancy them to clinch the title 16/1 is available.
Charlton 16/1
Another side that can be found at 16/1 in the market is Charlton. 12 months ago, The Addicks were priced up at 22/1, but after showing some strong form under Dean Holden, they are slightly shorter this season at 16’s.
Oxford 20/1
Oxford may have finished 19th in the table last season, but only eight teams are priced shorter in the League Winner market. Liam Manning took over in March and will be looking to replicate to guide the U’s towards the top half with this talented group of players.
