India vs. Bangladesh Betting Tips: Two predictions for Thursday's Cricket World Cup match
The Cricket World Cup has really come to life now with two giant killings blowing the group stage wide open.
After Afghanistan beat England and the Netherlands beat South Africa, Bangladesh will be emboldened ahead of their matchup against the host nation and clear favourites India.
Matt Banks is here to preview the game and pick out his best bets…
India vs Bangladesh Odds
While a lot of the teams have looked a bit undercooked and out of practice in the ODI format, one team have looked unstoppable - India.
They have a batting lineup filled with world-class talent, the world’s best seamer, and incredible spin options. At this point, it’s hard to see anyone but them winning the tournament.
Bangladesh started well with a comfortable victory over Afghanistan, but then really struggled in losses to England and New Zealand and will need to be vastly improved if they are to worry India.
Their star man is undoubtedly Shakib Al-Hasan, who has been impressive as always and if they are to shock the hosts here, he will need to provide runs and wickets.
India vs Bangladesh Tips
India have struggled a bit to put together a decent first wicket partnership in the first three games and will be desperate to get off to good start in this game to distance themselves from an upset early in their innings.
Rohit Sharma’s record in World Cups is truly ridiculous and Shubman Gill is expected to take over the throne from ‘King’ Virat Kohli when the great middle order batsman retires, and this is the perfect game for them to get India off to a flyer against their weaker seamers.
This is an interesting price boost on SkyBet with a lot of value.
Jasprit Bumrah has already taken eight wickets in the first three games and is looking like the most dangerous seam bowler in the tournament both with the new ball and at the death.
Kuldeep Yadav has taken five wickets so far and has looked threatening in the first three games and faces a Bangladesh team with well-noted issues against wrist spin.
On top of that, Ravi Jadeja is India’s best fielder and if a catch comes his way, he will almost definitely hold on to it.
