Despite Hoffenheim's poor performances this season, I am backing them to take all three points here.

Tottenham are in a genuine crisis at the moment. Half of their team is injured, which has led to the likes of Archie Gray having to fill in at centre back where he clearly isn't comfortable. As well as this, the morale in the side is clearly at an all-time low, and last weekend's loss to Everton highlighted this.

Postecoglou has completely lost the support of the fans, and it appears the players have as well. The whole squad was booed at the end of their loss to Everton, including club legend Heung Min Son.

I expect Hoffenheim to take advantage of this Spurs crisis and lump even more pressure on Postecoglou by beating them in Germany.

One of the few bright sparks of Tottenham's season so far has been the emergence of young talent. Players like Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall have become regulars in the side and have shown great potential for the future.

Bergvall was the hero of Tottenham's Carabao Cup victory over Liverpool, scoring the game's only goal. Although he arguably should have been sent off moments before scoring. Bergvall is prone to a yellow card, and I will be backing him to pick up yet another on Thursday. Bergvall has picked up three yellow cards in the Premier League despite only starting four games so far. He has also collected one in the Europa League and two in the Carabao Cup. As mentioned before, he should arguably have picked up a third booking for the Carabao Cup.

Bergvall is a very energetic midfielder, but this can often lead to him flying into challenges and finding himself in the referee's notebook. Bergvall is priced at 3/1 to be carded, which is too good of a price to turn down, considering how prone the Swedish midfielder is to being booked.

Hoffenheim vs Tottenham Lineups

Tottenham's unfortunate luck with injuries means they have a whole host of players out on the sidelines including the centre-back duo of Micky van den Ven and Cristian Romero. With keepers Guglielmo Vicario and Fraser Forster both out and Antonin Kinsky not registered, fourth choice Brandon Austin will be between the sticks. Ange Postecoglu also has big decisions to make in attack with Dominic Solanke and Brennan Johnson both doubtful.

Hoffenheim also have a number of players missing here, including Ozan Kabak, Grischa Promel, Florian Grillitsch, Marius Bulter, and Ihlas Bebou.
