Fulham vs. Preston Predictions: Three Bets as Fulham move closer to the Premier League

League leaders Fulham welcome Preston to Craven Cottage on Tuesday night as they look to extend their lead at the top of the table, if results elsewhere go in Fulham’s favour a win tomorrow will send them back to the Premier League.
Fulham vs Preston Tips
The hosts have lost back to back games with the most recent defeat coming against Wayne Rooney’s Derby who have been relegated to League One.
Preston are currently 15th and are sat in no man’s land, they are in no danger whatsoever in facing the drop but have little to no chance of nicking a play off position.
The reverse fixture ended in a 1-1 draw in late November but with the visitors season more or less complete its difficult to know how pumped they'll be heading to the capital.
Fulham are best priced at 4/9 to take all three points on Tuesday night which is short, but understandable. With a goal machine striker in Aleksandar Mitrovic available you’ll always feel confident he will get himself on the scoresheet. The Serbian is best priced at 4/5 to score his 39th goal of the Championship season which is remarkable.
I’m happy to combine those two selections here which pays a nice price of 1.07/1 (just short of 11/10) The 27 year old Serbian has scored just over 36% of his sides goals this campaign and he’ll for sure want to take the limelight here at Craven Cottage under the floodlights.
Given the centre forward's fantastic goal tally this campaign there is every chance he will open the scoring. Fulham’s last eight league wins has seen Mitrovic score the first goal on seven occasions, for a repeat of this come Tuesday night Bet 365 are offering a very reasonable price of 10/3 via the bet builder section.
Trying to find another angle in this fixture was fairly tricky, but something that did catch my eye was Harry Wilson. The Welshman is available to back at 7/2 to register an assist with Betfair’s price boost. The 25 year old has registered 14 assists in his 37 appearances in the Championship.
With the hosts averaging over 18 shots for on average per game at Craven Cottage this campaign you’d expect them to have plenty of chances. Harry Wilson is a usually on free kicks and corners for his side, this will enhance the opportunities of getting balls into the box which will hopefully lead to a goal.
Knowing a return to the Premier League is on the cards for the home side on Tuesday night I feel they'll want to put on a show. Marco Silva’s men still have tricky games to come before the end of the season so will be wanting a stress free final few games.
