Fulham vs. Leeds Betting Tips: Home side to win and both teams to score in FA Cup clash

The FA Cup returns this week with a flurry of fifth round ties taking place on both Tuesday and Wednesday. Live on BBC 1 on Tuesday, we have an all Premier League affair between Fulham and Leeds and we’ve provided you with our best bets for the clash from the capital.

Two teams who are having contrasting campaigns in the top-flight with Fulham flying high in sixth, while Leeds sit just a point above the relegation zone in 17th. There is a place in the quarter-finals up for grabs on Tuesday evening, and taking a look at the odds from various betting sites, it’s Fulham that are the favourites.

Most firms go 23/20 for Fulham to get the job done in normal time, while the draw is on offer at 5/2, and an away win for Leeds at 23/10. To qualify for the quarter-finals Fulham can be backed at 8/13, while Leeds odds-against 6/5.

The Cottagers have surprised many punters this season, and few would have predicted they would be sixth in the table heading into March. Fulham have only lost three games on home soil in the league this campaign, all of which have come against sides in the top six. They have only lost one of their last five at home in all competitions and it could be argued that their squad is slightly stronger than their opponents here.

Leeds enjoyed somewhat of a new manager bounce at the weekend with new boss Javi Gracia picking up three points against Southampton in a six-pointer at the foot of the Premier League on Saturday. That win, will give Leeds the belief they can get the win here, and it’s worth noting that Fulham have only kept a clean sheet once in their last seven in front of their own fans.

We’ll start with Robin Koch and the Leeds defender has committed two or more fouls in eight of his last 18 Premier League matches. With a place in the quarter-finals on the line, and some pace in Fulham’s attack with Dan James, 17/10 looks just a little too big for 2+ fouls with Paddy Power.

Carlos Vincius committed four fouls when coming off the bench for a 29 minute cameo on his most recent appearance 10 days ago. The striker has only started eight matches for Fulham this season but has given away 3+ fouls in three of them.
